Law in Illinois says that all red light camera intersections have to be marked off with a sign at the intersections. Plus it is hard to miss the big pole off to the side of the street with a giant security looking camera pointed at the intersection.../div>
Kiddie Land(this summer was its last) was in Melrose park right on North, Santa's Village(closed about 4 or 5 years ago) was in East Dundee at IL-25 and IL-72/div>
Here is a good example for those of you who like red light cameras. One of the most deadly intersections in Illinois is IL-72 and Randall Road(Dark Helmet should be familiar with this intersection). They had at least 2 fatalities there a year over the 4 years leading up to 2009. This year I can not recall a single fatality there, and the number of accidents has dropped significantly. They were proposing to put a red light camera at this intersection, but want to know what really fixed it? They made the left hand turn lanes protected turn only...
I know my results are not conclusive as of yet, but it is showing far better results then any of the red light cameras, considering this is a busier intersection then IL-72 and IL-31. This intersection is a 2 miles east of Randall, and happens to have the same numbers so far this year as it did last year without the red light camera...
No wonder why IDOT doesn't want to put many more up.../div>
Accidents are reported accidents, which means that an officer responded to the scene and filled out an accident report.
I don't see how your logic on how they cut down to save money on personnel on the street, as most of the town in Chicago have kept the same force on the street after putting the cameras up as well./div>
They have a party room right to the side of the lobby and a restaurant upstairs from the lobby(full bar in there that you can take drinks into the upstairs theaters)./div>
Lots just put it this way, Rosemont is a mob ran town. The fact this Theater is built Right where they were trying to build a casino that lost its licensing a few years ago because of under the table dealings should show a a bit more towards her situation.../div>
There are safe practices for officers to take out a vehicle in this way. They verify it is the right vehicle by flashing the lights before they do anything and it is only if the person is not stopping that they go and cut the accelerator. It is only used during chases, not so they can just go randomly about stopping cars that aren't a danger to the public.
This is a far safer option then anything else right now because to do the pit maneuver, throw down a spike strip or even waiting for the guy to run out of gas puts more lives in danger.
If you don't want your car to have this system, don't buy a car from GM with OnStar in it and you will be fine./div>
Im gu8es wondering where this is going to get them, Its not like most of the world hasn't heard about the infamous spam about giving you millions if you let them use your bank account.../div>
Im wondering what kind of good name they really have anyway, considering I have had friends that have lived in some of their apartments and only had problems...
Oh well, battering yourself into a hole isnt so bad as long as she can get something out of it../div>
