You think 2Mbps is pretty awful? Trying living more than a few miles outside of any town. I'm lucky to get "Extended DSL from CenturyLink (the ONLY provider available) and if I manage to get speeds better than 256kbps, I'm having a good day./div>
So why didn't the companies then post the total number of requests in aggregate and then, post the total number of requests without the FISA requests added in?
Seems simple to me, they would have obeyed the rules, yet still got the info out./div>
Considering there have been model rockets with cameras on them for several decades, if this was really that much of an issue, shouldn't it have been dealt with years ago?/div>
But that isn't the case in this instance. There are no doors to access using the chip. The chip is used to monitor the kids' locations, maybe not all day at this point, but how hard do you think it would be to rewrite the software to run all day tracking.?/div>
You know, I'm slightly offended. I am 40+, with 3 kids, and I routinely play games like Battlefield 3 and Black Ops.
My kids, like every other kid, have had their moments, and, at least in my family, a parent was there to handle discipline and explain the facts of life. (ie. no one owes you anything, in the real world, sometimes you lose, etc)
Maybe the problem isn't the 40+ crowd, maybe it's the people who refuse to understand that it isn't the government, the school, the television, the video game, or the internet's responsibility to raise the kids./div>
I personally know a few dozen people who used to fly fairly regularly, but have quit doing so because of TSA. I also won't fly unless it's absolutely the only real choice due to TSA./div>
Except that it's well within your rights to act like a nutjob, if you so choose. As long as he didn't actually attempt to infringe on anyone's rights, or harm himself, he didn't do anything to justify this treatment./div>
