"At the very least, it's difficult to see her as an unbiased member of the judiciary on copyright issues". If she can't be unbiased on one issue then she can't be trusted on any issues. This woman should be fired not protected!/div>
One question I have is I pay Netflix and it has nothing to do with Sony at all, so why on the PS3 do you have to sine in to use the Netflix at all./div>
Like right now I have been locked out from 5 games, 47 Add-on packs The one pack for Fallout 3 was $50 and you can only get the Add-on pack from PSN but (PC and Xbox once you buy the add-on packs there yours), netflix and all online PSN dependant games./div>
No you have to have PSN in order for any game or add-on you have gotten online for your PS3 or PSP and yes there is games that are 100% PSN dependant like Brink./div>
I just got back from talking to a friend who is a CA district attorney and he is going to his boss Monday to see if charges can be charges brought against Sony for blackmail witch non of us need a lawyer for since it is a state law and this is only the first legal action I am taking to fight back./div>
Point is even lawyers don't know 5% of all laws and have to do a lot of research for each case they have in court. So how are we the little people to know them all. What ever happened to keep it simple stupid? Like the 10 commandments!/div>
Frack them all and who gives a frack! Oh did I just break some copyright law since Frack is synonymous to Battlestar Galactica? It is so dam hard to tell any more!/div>
I called my legal counsel and he said I was right that Sony can't cut off any thing bought before this new TOS that came out yesterday and if they do there breaking the law. When we bought the systems, games and add-on packs we said yes to there terms and they have to stick to those terms if we do not agree with new terms they try to make us sine. They have to keep providing the same services for items bought before Sep 15, 2011 or it breaks blackmail laws (holding something a value that was payed for tell you sine a new contract is blackmail under CA Penal Code 518 and federal blackmail statute (P.L. 103-322, 108 Stat. 2147)). Only systems and games gotten after the new TOS would be forced by law to stick to the new TOS. Cutting off Peoples access to items bough like the 47 add-on packs I have gotten in the past 5 years for not agreeing to new TOS is BLACKMAIL any way you look at it./div>
Look like I said in there country this might fly but in the USA there is a lot of legal reasons why a court will not take Sony's side, the list is long but just use your heads. The person that wrote this does not know law he is just informing people what was in the new TOS Sony sent out yesterday./div>
I think you can if people stood up and said HELL NO in one big voice but most won't. So just click yes and blame your kids if no kids then barrow one :)/div>
I would love to see there little JAP faces when a judge tells them kids in the USA can't sine legal contracts. They look so funny where there mad -,-/div>
Makes most of what your kids sine or say yes to mute in any legal contract and since 90% of all PS3 accounts are kids accounts don't sweat the little shit Sony would not have a leg to stand on in court./div>
My kids might have said yes to this when it happened but I did not. So I can still sue that and they need to know kids can't sine any contract with out a parent./div>
We can use it here in the US to. It is no ones bee's wax what I do on line! I use StealthNet and RShare along with other tools and private servers around the world. With A**holes out there like this MPAA and with laws that say a CD is worth more then most high end super car, Literally you can steel a Bugatti Veyron and pay less in legal restitution then if you torrent 1 CD or DVD and that is if you only download that CD or DVD, if you are the one uploading then the fines are even higher. Where they come up with these numbers of how 1 downloaded CD 12 songs is worth 1.5 mill dollars is beyond me but as long as our government supports this kind of theft by media corporations They can kiss my you know what!/div>
And as for this game there talking about it should be free it has crap graphics and is for the simple minded person that can't handle real games reminds me of the games on Facebook!/div>
I guess I am tired of the media comp's saying all people who torrent are bad people that steel from them. When it is them that charge way to much for things that are not worth the money they charge $15.99 for a CD that you only like one song out of the 15 songs on the CD or download. Or games that have a 6 hour campaign and shit connection for online play with tons of lag ect. It is time these media comp's look in a mirror and see who the real crooks are./div>
HothMonster fact is I have more money invested in gaming then you do any day of the week same goes for music CDs and movies on DVD and blu ray disk and just to prove it here is just one book shelf full out of the 6 in my home http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/y332/Atomic_Waistland/My7.jpg/div>
MY game systems are not jailbroken! There for I can't play pirated games on my PS3 or my Xbox 306 only on my PCs can I torrent a game and test it. With the money I spend on gaming yah I am going to test a game weather you or the game comp like it or not. Just for PC alone over the years I have a full a book shelf of games. SP3 I have 130 that includes the PS2 games I had before I got the PS3 and my Xbox 360 I have 52 games. Not to mention all the money I have spent on controllers like the 4 move controllers, 2 nav controllers sharp shooter, xbox connect and the list goes on and on./div>
No I held off and got them used weather from a friend who wanted to trade game for game, Gamefly, Gamestop or Craigs list. When it came out it was not worth $59.99 but it is worth $14.99 or to trade for a game you no longer want. I never said I did not pay for them./div>
