If an open source project needs to ask for 'sponsorship' to write a paper on how to keep their product secure, then I'm not at all convinced the product is secure at all.
@Mr. Oizo: It's not about how to keep Drupal secure. You should RTFA.
Can you point to some open source systems you feel are more secure and how they've handled creating similar marketing literature./div>
As more and more people buy online our states/cities will get less and less revenue from local sales tax. Eventually I think that all cities and states will start having similar laws requiring online merchants to advise and/or collect the taxes.
Rather than fighting this the merchants should figure out how to best support it. If Amazon said "OK, we'll do this, but we want Colorado to make the process dead easy." then that would be a real win for all internet retailers./div>
The apartment buildings get free or subsidized installation of wiring to their premises and sometimes into the building IF they then guarantee certain subscription levels to the telco provider. If they don't meet the levels the apartment developer is on the hook to pay for the wiring that they previously got for free.
I guess the alternative is that apartments could be more expensive. I fail to see how that's an improvement./div>
