  Putting my parents on Ubuntu was seriously one of the best things I've ever done. The only time I even get a call about the computers now is generally something wrong with the internet connection coming into the house, not the connection to the computer. Also, no more spam emailed to me because my mom gets yet another virus...also, the printer works without the mysteriously uninstalling printer drivers now.

  There was a fee possibly paid when the work was authored. If not, the time is far past for compensation. This is just a company that wants to lock up knowledge for their own profit. Freeing up the information would cause it to be duplicated across the internet resulting in constant availability. Then again, that would defeat the purpose of the company wouldn't it? I say that there is no need for a company dedicated to locking up the information behind a paywall when it should be freely available to the public.

  For the love of all that is sacred, why the hell can't they support Linux! I had Netflix and liked the service but I cancelled because I was tired of being treated like a second class citizen for not using Windows. I actually had Hulu plus for awhile because, shockingly enough, they had a Linux client for their Hulu Desktop app. That service ended up failing from my point of view because if I'm going to give you money then I shouldn't have to watch commercials.
  
  Since Netflix has pretty much admitted that they'll never support Linux, I don't use their service or even recommend it to anyone that I know.

  Reading the comments that Eddy made about the article, I have to agree with most of them. I worked at a Gamestop for awhile. It was actually a weird twisted pleasure for me and my coworkers to tell younger kids they couldn't buy a game because they were too you or to explain to parents what exactly an "M" rating meant (one grandmother was told by her 10 y.o. grandson that "M" stood for monkeys). So, the theory that these games are in the hands of mythical 9 year olds is a bit much for me. I don't think that the the employees of an establishment should be the sole gateway to kids buying games that may be too graphic for them. What happened to parents actually caring? I mean really, the box clearly states the rating. If you decide that your kid can play it when you buy it for them, don't come complaining later when you find it out may have cursing or gratuitous violence. You should have read the box in the first place.
  
  With all of that said, I fully support the game developers decision to make and market these types of games even though I don't play them myself.

  Seriously? You think calling a group of people neckbeards isn't rude? Last I checked, I was female, didn't have a neckbeard and still use Linux for everything I can. I agree with most people here and say that its wrong for Sony to remove a feature that sold some people on the console. I personally don't use it, but it still sucks.
