"Barr's seemingly baseless claims about spying on the Trump campaign" -- let's see how wrong this statement is in a few months
Way too many players that are way too nervous about their fates right now to call these "baseless claims" unless you are going through life with blinders on or your head in the sand.
Nice try, but a swing and a miss. An unverifiable article from another publication being cited in a subsequent article does not give it any more credibility. Much of the public seems clueless as to being fleeced by the MSM with this "circular logic". The MSM milks this fact to the max, and I generally do not accuse or suspect Techdirt of adding to this problem, but this article certainly falls into that category.
Spare me your blatantly obvious Trump bias Tim. "but this administration has done more than most to take everything that's bad about ICE (which is a lot) and crank it up to 11."
In other words, this administration is the first one in quite some time that has decided to actually ENFORCE THE LAWS THAT ARE ON THE BOOKS!. Laws that were created by PREVIOUS administrations. Laws that WE AS AMERICANS elected him to uphold.
It is hardly his, nor his supporters fault that previous administrations allowed the situation to deteriorate so badly that the only way to fix it now is with aggressive enforcement.
If we do as Tim seems to prefer, then nothing gets fixed and the situation continues to get worse. You have to be walking through life with blinders on (or one'e head inserted in one's rectum) to not see the damage that this unchecked stream of non-citizens coming into America and never leaving. So let's criticize the only someone in ages who actually wants to FIX THE FREAKING PROBLEM!!/div>
And just exactly what does the fact that Johnson is "a vocal Trump supporter" actually have to do with this story? Trying to tilt opinions in a certain direction? Please just stick to the facts./div>
LOL! When I first read the subtitle "from the intuit-ive-thinking dept", I thought it read "from the inuit-ive-thinking dept", a dig at Warren"s ever-changing heritage./div>
When the truth comes out that stingrays actually inject code into the baseband receiver of a target phone, making it permanently compromised, the jig will be up./div>
Maybe it is time to do a little bit of deeper digging into the superintendent's past. What is she hiding or trying to keep buried that the depiction of her as a "defendant" made her so over-sensitive about? Something hitting a little to close to home, maybe?/div>
If you, as a company, feel the need to put the defamation clause in your terms of service, then you are pretty much admitting right up front that you know that your product is either going to generate significant negative feedback, and/or that you know up right up front that your product or service is an outright scam./div>
Defense counsel certainly has the right to depose the plaintiff. Proof of identity at the deposition would likely be insisited on. Simply requesting to depose Hansmeier's plaintiff could also have immediately blown it up in Paul's face./div>
