Google didn't "twist" it, all they did was upload an example file to their repo by mistake, but those example source files did NOT ship on any actual device. Thousands of developers use Java, with the right assumption that Oracle wont come after them if their product succeeds, this should also apply to Google./div>
You can install an app from any where (ie a website, third party app store) as long as you check the "Allow apps from unknown sources" in settings. Also, you can download the SDK and compile your own app and run it on the device. This can be done free of charge. Your imagination is the limit./div>
Is that now how our body works? We interpret stimuli from the outside world, and our nervouse system takes care of the rest. What would be different from our biological system, than AI? Even emotion, which is a collection of horomones, can be reproduced in AI./div>
AJAX isn't a plugin though like what was said earlier. AJAX is a fancy name for using JavaScript to communicate with a server, then using DOM to access HTML elements and write content directly to them without having to refresh the page. Simply put it is JavaScript, HTML, and communication with a back end such as PHP and MySQL... which the iPad and any modern browser support./div>
Who gets news from FOX?? AP and Reuters... and I personally don't use search engines for News, I usually go direct to news sites for news anyways since search engines are delayed./div>
What would keep you using Google's reputable high quality products if other company's had access to its algorithm, or millions of website owners started fooling Google's search algorithm? It would no longer be so high quality, and reputable. So yes, that is the reason you use Google./div>
When it comes to third party development and sales, it doesn't matter how good the technology is (Wii?), market share is very important, and that is one of the author's main points. Developers will tend to invest there time into platforms with the most users. WebOS is good, but I don't agree with your comment on Android sucking on UI... way off man lol/div>
Yeah man, I agree with the other posters. It is understood an athlete or celebrity is is being paid. A blogger goes into details, and for the most part, readers assume it's an unbiased review of a product, and will greatly influence there decisions to purchase such product. I don't ever take a commercial / athlete endorsement serious on making purchasing decisions, besides maybe becoming more aware the product exists./div>
AT&T is comparing Google to a service provider, it is not. Google has the right to determine what shows up in its search results to give the consumer the best quality listings. It doesn't prevent you from visiting any site, you still have to option to use another search engine, or type in the URL manually. AT&T has the power to block you from visiting a website all together.... Net neutrality doesn't apply to Google, they are not a gatekeeper. That was an ignorant letter, and it will backfire on them!/div>
