    Massive Threat?

A massive threat where I don't think anyone can name anyone under 50 who died or was even hospitalized with Covid, and most were from nursing homes where evil Democrat and liberal (MA) governors forced Covid positive patients into even after we knew the problem with Kirkland by early march.

    So

Just support Democrats, and its okay to say you want to kill all white people like Sarah Jeong and you can be part of it. They will still have ambiguous Terms of Service enforced entirely arbitrarily by far lefties that voted for Bernie and held their nose then totally melted down when Hillary didn't win. Just ban everyone who is or has ever been pro-Trump right now and be done with it. You aren't about "trust and safety", you are about purging anyone not far to the left of Joe Rogan, Tim Pool, and Jordan Peterson. I don't see ANYTHING in the material about diverse political points of view or rational discussion. Just a bunch of subjective stuff that will be judged by the CHAZ/CHOP residents and those who think burning and looting are not violence but expression, but think expression or even silence is violence. At least it is now out in the open.

This is why we can't have nice networking

We can't have "net neutrality". because they need to stop whitelisted packets while letting blacklisted packets burn sites for real or imagined sins of people in the 1850's.

And when it becomes a desert...

They already complianed about food deserts before they burned and looted the Target. And that convenience store where Floyd passed the counterfeit $20 bill. Explain what the new version of Minneapolis Law Enforcement will do in that case or should I just run my inkjet and go there.

    Broken Policing Windows

We need a version of "Broken Windows" policing for the cops. While we get the horror stories, yesterday Tim Pool talked about some lesser things - arrested for skateboarding, a case where he had video and the officer committed perjury in court and in his report, and planted drugs. We've also heard the sleeping DUI Deputy that was driven home instead of being shot in the back. They need an "Internal Affairs" with teeth, and reporting should be complaints to the Feds that would investigate them instead of the local forces (with the police bill of rights/privileges). It is these small things that let the big things through. If they were suspended without pay for a month for NOT arresting the DUI Deputy, or lying on their reports, or NOT reporting a fellow cop when they witnessed misconduct, they would quit or straighten up or be fired.

    Mein!

(german accent) I know they do that other nasty business in the concentration camps, but rape is such a terrible crime and Herr Fuhrer needs some place to send the rapists to deter the crime. Ignore the other thing because rape is so horrendous!

    Good tradeoff.

They are no longer fighting the drug war.

    Geography matters

I can't even drive on the interstates around here without dropped calls and dead zones dozens of miles long. I don't have dakota to idaho 1X or 3G/EVDO. But I hear they are tearing down the existing 3G so they can make room for 5G in the big cities. It would be more interesting to compare big cities, London to Paris to NYC to LA.

    And the other half:

Stop the Police from getting involved in collecting property and sales taxes.
  • Jun 13th, 2020 @ 1:23pm

    Wonderful,

Consider that Telemedicine is sometimes used for reproductive counseling, i.e. STDs and Abortion. Scarlet As database anyone?

    Re:

There simply would be no privacy. In order to get health care from the state, you would have to agree to share all information with the police, researchers, whatever. And probably give up any right to sue for malpractice or damages as it true for Vaccines today. There are several layers of problems which just get worst. There is more duct tape than duct now. Employer's paying was a WW2 policy to get around wage and price controls - you couldn't raise wages, but could offer to pay for all medical care. Insurance is also a misnomer - you don't buy fire insurance AFTER your house has burned down. You don't buy car insurance to cover paying for routine maintainence. The first part is to sort the no market parts from the others. The ER maybe should be from local taxes like police and fire. Chronic problems like dialysis and insulin maybe should be handled by large fixed price to the vendors - Insulin was found in the 1930s, but now the FDA only allows the $ hundreds per month super bioengineered and PATENTED version that most people can't afford. Why not the orignal pig (or other) pancreas option which if developed might cost pennies a dose today?

They just need a rage mob.

The problem is there is already a defacto ban on some speech and points of view, generally conducted by a rage mob reporting that some post is "icky", and the person is "icky" and being "icky" goes against something in the terms of service. And the terms of service are intentionally kept ambiguous so the enforcement will be arbitrary. These contracts of adhesion are exactly like the laws they propose to stop "icky" speeck from the other side. They usually use the term "offensive", but then say it is hateful too, but it only goes one way. The enforcers almost all voted for Hillary, and those that didn't voted for the Green party or are still far to the left. They ban what offends them personally, not what might violate the actual rules, but the ambiguity gives them cover since they never have to explained what terms of service, or how they were violated, just that they did. That would happen with any attempt with a law, but it is happening now. And usually just after some rage mob wants someone's scalp. Does anyone remember what SPECIFIC thing Alex Jones was banned everywhere for (including Apple, apparently it went up to Tim Cook)? Sarah Jeongs tweets were more offenive than anything Milo tweeted, but Milo got banned. Jeongs tweets AFAIK are still up. Candace Owens simply did a find and replace on white to black and those otherwise identical tweets earned her a suspension. Few if any complain about vertical moderation - offensive terms, profanity, vulgarity, language suggesting violence, etc. like a G v.s. PG v.s. PG13 vs R vs X, as the rules can be fairly clear. Even Gab does that to some extent with its NSFW flag (as does Minds and Parler IIRC). The problem is the horizontal moderation where the ban limit is anything to the right of a left moving boundary. Or vice versa, but I know of no platform which does so.

Agreed. I forgot about this case. Thanks for reminding me and the update.

    You exhonerate Chauvin

The Minneapolis PD or their union trained officer Chauvin in "neck restraint" technique. He will be found not guilty because he did exactly what he was trained to do in the way he was trained with the "I was in fear of my life" excuse. Apparently this is what cops sent to Israel for training learn, among other things. Whom does the Police Union support in the Minnesota and Local elections? Don't expect the city council or mayor to really do anything. Kroll may be for Trump but for far longer (maybe check the FEC database if you want to do journalism) simply decided to be the Democrats' mercenary. Local policing is, well, local. Which means you just need to go along with the local corrupt political machine. MN did elect Jesse Ventura many years ago. I think they need more WWE stars on all levels instead of the politicians. I've been shouting about the problem with Cops "killology" maybe for longer than you have lived, but no one cares. It is either "all cops are devils" or "all cops are angels", identity politics. Even now no one really wants to fix anything, just assign blame.

    Zuck - Mephistopheles Faustian bargain

The problem is the binary nature. You can get facebook without paying a dime but costing your privacy. You can't pay them anything to have a pesence and NOT be privacy raped. There are no gradations. Facebook Hell or not.

Chicago PD is one of the worst

But the deadliest weekend was the end of may https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2020/6/8/21281998/chicago-violence-murder-history-homicide -police-crime None involving police. But any attempts at solving the problem run into the Democratic machine politics which include the police union and the entrenched incumbents that are never voted out. I think dissolving the police - and the city council - would be like the right electing Trump after the RINOs did nothing for decades (the big F-U as Michael Moore said). That does make some sense.

    The Millenial attention span.

The toddler wants his candy now or he will throw a tantrum. The first question is whether you want to vent your feelings or actually have something change. This is not a rhetorical question. Too many people complain, then do something THEY want to do and screech when it fails. I remember a sad example where someone created a spam-fax your congressman portal, then was suprised that the congressmen ignored the faxes. There were effective things he could have done instead. But he never changed tactics. Churchill said "Sometimes we must not do our best, we must do what is necessary". Ghandi said "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind". The reason MLK/Ghandi style protests are important is in a democracy you need to get the majority on your side. You show the injustice. That those saying they are enforcing the law are just lawless thugs. When you resort to violence or vandalism, you lose all moral authority. This is 4th Generation Warfare. War has several levels. The physical (blowing things up), the mental (causing fear), and the moral (who is acting justly, rightly). 4GW is won at the moral level. The day after the vid of Floyd's death was shown, I can't think of anyone even saying wait for due process, for more information. The marches started and were joined in. Also Breonna Talylor (oh, you forgot her?). Then the looting and burning started. Whatever damage the police have caused over the last 10 years from their evils was doubled and doubled again by the rioters and looters. They burned the police station, but also Target, and that black owned sports bar (after looting it). Macys was looted in NYC. Now it has devolved into SJW virtue signalling. How many blacks are employed by Apple, Google, Facebook, and Amazon? In mid level or above positions? H1Bs from India don't count. Who cares about the police, just kneel while wearing some african scarf and its fine? As "wokeness" spirals ever upwards. Do they want justice or a check for $1 trillion? I can't tell anymore. I've been reasoning with many about finding solutions. If your opening remark is "I just want to see the world burn", there isn't much more to discuss after the incendiary remark.

    Pushing Play...

"This is the end... of the innocence."
  • Jun 8th, 2020 @ 3:37pm

So you would be fine with...

F- Blacks, F- Jews, F- Journalists? The first two, s/id/epithet/, i.e. the N and K words. You would demand the sheriff arrest if not shoot someone that did so. Welcome to the post free speech world.

    And Ill

Which Crowdstrike ran afoul of. We have an EPA, why should CARB have special rules, and why should California be allowed to violate the clean air act and clean water act otherwise and be more polluted than other states? Glad the Feds are finally enforcing it. There is no reason except violating the privacy there should be any data outside the transaction with the small business. Or the upstream data vacuuming providers doing the shopping cart and check out can be hit. Beyond that, maybe the solution is persistent pseudonyms with compartmentalized data. My online identity almost always doesn't need my physical address.
