    But the rest of us?

    "Since copyright is property"

Until you cite something on that, I'm done here.

It says cannot be deprived of property. How are you tying property and copyright together? Cite something in the 5th amendment that says copyright and property are the same thing.

Here it is, in case you need it for reference:

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

    Guitar Hero 3

This lawsuit isn't even about the "latest version of Guitar Hero". The particular version he is griping about is several years old, with multiple GH games coming out since then.

    Limiting opponent knowledge

As far as I know, this mostly deals with limiting the knowledge of the opposing teams before the game. They don't want the press leaking their new strategies, because they don't want their opponents to be prepared for their plans.

Sure, the Redskins have been absolute dicks many times in the past regarding fans, but this seems innocuous to me.

    IE Only

"People must first install the Bing Bar toolbar, have a Windows Live ID, be on a Windows machine and use Internet Explorer. No Chrome or Firefox, no Macs."

Hah... no. I considered checking it out to see what the program was, but if I can't use it on the platform I desire (within limitations, I understand they can't make it work with *everything*), then I'm not going to even try it.

    internal and external links

this isn't related to the article itself, but the amount of links in the article did remind me of this...

could the style of these articles be changed ever so slightly to make external site links more apparent? i like clicking to your source articles to view the full details, and this article has 10 links, 9 of which are internal. it would be very convenient if i could, at a glance, know which links go to the original source and which go to other articles that i probably read when you first posted them.

    step 1 complete (as Steve)

Step 1 to me buying an eBook reader is complete. Step 2 will be publishers releasing a good quantity of books I am interested in without DRM. It has to be enough books to justify the cost. I really like the idea of an eBook reader, but previous experiences with pre DRM free iTunes and Audible have scared me away from any service that can lock my purchases to a specific device.

As a Verizon customer... (as Steve)

I have been with Verizon for over 6 years (LG VX-10, LG VX 8000, LG Chocolate and now Motorola Droid) and after this news broke, I went through 2 years of past bills (prior to getting the Droid, since that has a data plan) and I didn't see this charge a single time.

I don't know if I just never hit that button (I know which one it was) or if the issue is more complicated than thought. Someone commented "You are charged for data if you send a picture." and I never sent a picture on any of my phones.

To be honest, when I first read that article and say all the comments, I chalked it up to AT&T FUD to try and fight the Droid launch. I'm still not entirely sure what to think about this issue. Maybe I got lucky?

    Blizzard (as Steve Phillips)

Blizzard has done this in the past - most notably with the Warcraft III collectors edition.
