Odd Freebies

from the some-people-will-buy-anything dept

An amusing article over at News.com about impossible free offers. The main example is AOL, which is offering an amazing 700 free hours of internet access. The fine print, however, points out that all these hours need to be used in the first month. Yes, that's right, you'd have to be online a little over 23 hours a day in 30 day month. That's reasonable. I guess it could be useful if you wanted to be "always on" but doesn't AOL kick you off if you're not active?
