It seems that every few months there's a story about how eBay remains the "king" of ecommerce and wondering if that will cause it to destroy other ecommerce sites. While I think eBay certainly has an impact on other ecommerce sites, I imagine it's only in certain areas. There are many goods that I would never feel comfortable ordering over eBay, where it is less clear who I am buying from and what sort of guarantees they provide.

    Ugh, eBay. Does anyone else get bugged that you can only see the auction times in Pacific time ?

    I know this is a bit off topic from the post but GOD that irks me.

      Haha. I honestly never noticed, but perhaps that's because I live in the Pacific time zone. I'm amazed that they don't offer some sort of localization feature to correct for that. Such a simple thing...
