Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.

While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

    No Subject Given

i listened for about 30 seconds - sorry. but my ears just couldn't take anymore of it. What I find finny about their download format that they offer, is that their highest quality version isn't even in their own format, WMA... it is in the MP3 format. or am I just being too nit-picky?

    ... uh ...

i don't even know where to start. ok, maybe that they call this a "rock" song? or maybe the lyrics with such catchy lines as "Staring down at lines on his L.C.D [sic] screen" and "Prays to all his Gods, even Captain Kirk" I really don't know how this won't be a winner! I can't believe it's 1am and this is the most exciting part of my night. i'm a programmer too though. i think tomorrow is where the "magic begins to flow, out to the fore"
