Cingular Says Staying Old School Should Be More Expensive
Cingular has been trying to convince people to move off of its old TDMA network for a while. Even though they need to keep it running until 2008, apparently they're upping the incentives by adding a $5 monthly surcharge for those people who are just too old school to move on up to a more modern phone. This may lead to some complaints -- but sooner or later it makes sense to get people off the older networks.Filed Under: 2g
