Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.

While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

just the thing the NSA uses, a multi-key tool for unlocking stuff, just make sure you don't lose it or a virtual pathogen will get loose, or something :)

How does it handle non-flat key enclosures? I've got a number with those bulbous plastic ends on them; fine on a keyring (if wasteful of space), but I can't see they'd work that well in something like this.

How does the Department of Hopeless Security react when you try to drag one of these through an airport?

WARNING: Do NOT use this with car keys!

This thing almost caused me to get in a car accident yesterday. With a solid bar attached to your car key, if you so much as bump in with your knee it can cause the key to turn in the ignition and shut off your car while driving. It happened to me twice, but luckily I was just driving out of the parking garage at work.
