Sleep is a vital bodily function -- even if no one knows exactly why we do it. There's a lot of sleep research, but not a lot of solid answers for the origins of sleep. But that doesn't mean we're not learning cool stuff about sleeping all the time. Here are just a few tidbits of research on the topic of sleeping.- Lucid dreaming can be induced with some brain stimulation. It's not an exact science yet, but someday we won't watch TV or play video games -- we'll wear lucid dream head gear and entertain ourselves while we sleep. [url]
