What makes you comfortable with accepting that what you owe is YOUR fair share?
Is there any valuation on the services provided to you, or to others, that seems like what you pay is 'fair'? Or is it because it's more-or-less what you've paid all your life, and you have survived just fine, so it must be ok?
If your taxes were to suddenly double, would you feel the same way? What about triple?
No, this isn't likely, I am just trying to highlight the point - what makes you comfortable with the current level you are taxed at?
That didn't seem right. 1 quick google later, and according to Wikipedia (which is never wrong):
Free speech zones were used in Boston at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
...
Free speech zones were also used in New York City at the 2004 Republican National Convention.
Of course it's a whole lot of bull anyhow - the idea that you can be blocked from saying what you want is valid on private property (I don't need to let anyone who is in my house to say whatever they want, I can kick em out), but allowing a gov't entity to do so in any way is supremely disturbing.
So if a reporter finds something out by research, but no one says it to them, it's not a "fact" and they can't report it?
I hear reporters all the time say things like "Some are speculating that..."
If you report an opinion as a fact, that is bad. If you report that someone has an opinion, that is a fact. And thus they can report on it if they believe there is any merit to it.
Weezer isn't as prominent in this one - they only appear at the end - but I thought it was cool of them to jump onto some popular youtube channels (2.5 mil views this week is pretty good)
In fact, if it wasn't for that (well, and then this article I suppose) I wouldn't have known they even had a new album out.
So many Americans just assume that anything that is on "The Internet" must fall under American control.
I saw this story on the TV news this morning in 2 places, and none of them mentioned the fact that the pentagon is demanding something of a foreign country. Which (even though it happens all the time) is just ridiculous.
Of course the next step is to call great attention to the fact that Wikileaks isn't an American run enterprise so that we can all get scared about Foreign Nationals with American documents.
Yeah, seems likely that Apple has such little experience in business to know if they intentionally mislead people, it's actually better for their future business.
I'm sure if congress doesn't get involved the next version won't work at all, plus give little children cancer from 5 feet away.
Too bad there aren't any other phones out there to choose from except an iPhone.

And that's my opinion, as a matter of fact.
