"The LSP may claim no coverup took place"
But they are lying.
This case should be tied to every single LSP case in court.
They will violate someones rights & murder them to cover it up, so we can trust anything they tell us when they lie in reports?
While you can't fire them, thanks arbitration, this should really call into question why some outside person (usually cop friendly) gets to make the call that officers who violate the public trust, their oath, their responsibilities, and MURDER someone should still be paid by the state.
The entire department needs an outside audit as an ongoing criminal enterprise, perhaps federal charges can't be wished away by the local FOP.
There is no way these murderers didn't share the asswhupping they gave the guy who ran from them and none of them spoke up.
Until they actually face punishment, this will keep happening across the nation as everyone but the courts begins to understand that some citizens are regularly abused & murdered for nothing more than a cops ego.
While they want to investigate themselves, its perfectly clear they are incapable of finding the truth or facts. Heads should roll, but so many people want to lick the boots and say he shouldn't have run if he didn't want to die. Can't wait until one of them pissed off a super cop and find themselves terrified they might not survive the encounter.

Well its clear they didn't know what Twitch actually was, cause they obviously don't understand their content creators or users...
Of course they managed to ignore the history of the music industry declaring all out war over anyone hearing 3 notes of a song in the background.
Do they need to listen to an mp3 on loop while they sleep to remind them to breathe?

Yeah super trooper wanted to run another test as the poor man was screaming it was the remains of his daughter, his father arrived & said no those are remains, and finally one of the cops remembered the man from being at the murder scene & decided maybe just maybe those were his babies ashes & suggest against a 2nd test as they were just trampling on this man in his grief.

"The complaint whines that many people believed the event was real"
Perhaps they should spend their time focusing more on redeeming their image so people wouldn't assume the bunch of them are Trump loving, insurrection cheering, asshats who would host a riot.
Boo hoo hoo cancel culture!!!
Its only Cancel Culture if it comes from the Canncelle region of France, otherwise its just sparkling consequences.
For all of the screaming "conservatives" do about how its unfair other people are treated as human one wonders how they fail to understand that the rest of the world is just treating them how they treat others.
Somehow they've managed to turn "conservative" into a protected group in the minds of many people.. I don't remember them being beaten for existing, their leaders executed because twinkies, hundreds of years of being treated as subhuman, the big round up where we shipped them in cattle cars to camps...
They face a mocking and act like they've been shot, meanwhile when yet another POC is shot their response is to mock the victim. I guess bad things are only bad when they are treated how they treat their fellow man.

Well they also believe their savior was a white dude with blue eyes in the middle east... perhaps they should keep their beliefs to themselves until they regain contact with reality.

Re:
Despite telling everyone a child is kidnapped and raped every 2 seconds... its not happening that often.
So the sex offender label needed to be expanded so they could get good headlines.
The headline is Older boy arrested for photographs of young female, CP charges debated.
Most people stop reading there.
The DA needs a good win to keep his name in the press so he can win reelection & whats good press? Stopping a child molester.
Mooned from a school bus as a prank... On the list.
Drunk & pissed in an alley... On the list.
The guy who was accidentally seen naked (he was in his house getting coffee without pants/curtains open) by a mom walking her kid to school. They were ready to charge him and do all sorts of horrible things to him... because mom was screaming how horrible it was her male child saw another mans penis at the range of sidewalk to a house. He wasn't jerking it, chasing the child, remotely aroused but the idea a child is permanently scarred by seeing the same parts they have is the level of stupid in this world.
They feel they have to keep winning cases to show they are working hard, so they take on cases that are slamdunks (or can be turned into one with enough pressure) & funny I still think the Walmart Heiress is still driving around after her multiple drunk driving accidents injuring people...
The system is not fair, its rigged to show wins even at the expense of the innocent. The system then pulls out all the stops to protect the record even if it means executing an innocent man.
One wonders how safe people would feel if they actually saw the truth, that many of these cases are fabrications to get headlines while they are skipping over the hard things that might not go their way.

I look forward to Amazon getting subpoenas from Copyright Trolls to unmask the users who accessed the mesh & the user providing it so they can be threatened with a crime for allowing their internet to be used.
One also wonders how any consumer protection things might like to fine the hell out of Amazon.
If you dunno you were opted in & the mesh manages to push you over your bandwidth cap and you incurr fees... who's fault?
