I guess I should have said "All of us productive members of society!" The first qualifier is that you had income. If you make less than what qualifies to be taxed then you are a dependent. Dependent on your parents or the government.

OK! Drop your cable service and cellphone contract. That is roughly $180 monthly toward a decent health care policy for a family. Face it! People's priorities are not for health insurance coverage if they would rather spend money on non-essential items. The American dream is to have it all whether or not you can afford it. Sad...

Congressional Record
I remember reading in a book by John Stossel on how much it costs to print one page of the Congressional Record (a lot of taxpayer money) and how it is blatantly used for this type of self promotion and congratulation by our congress critters.

If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model.
I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull, but that's not the worst of it.
My fenders are too wide to be considered stylish. They were once as a sleek as a little MG; now they look more like my mother's old Buick.
My seat cushions have split open at the seams. My seats are sagging. Seat belts? I gave up all belts when Ben & Jerry's opened a shop in my neighborhood.
Air bags? Forget it. The only bags I have these days are under my eyes. Not counting the saddlebags, of course.
I have soooooo many miles on my odometer. Sure, I've been many places and seen many things, but when' s the last time an appraiser factored life experiences against depreciation?
My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close.
My reaction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.
My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins. It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. I'm burning fuel at an inefficient rate.
But here's the worst of it - almost every time I sneeze or cough, my radiator seems to leak.

With prices of high quality SLR/DSLR cameras dropping within the casual hobbyists budget you would expect to see a lot more requests for prints that would seem "professional". If Walmart makes a copy at the request of a customer, the responsible party should be the customer, not Walmart. We can blame the lobbyist who would push copyright so that copyright owners could maximalize their profits in court and collect from the deep pocketed corporations.

Who holds the patent for a very small display system for home performances. Oh?! Nobody? No wonder there is so much competition in the small display system for homes market.

No! No! Some labels get it. Unfortunately not any of the majors. But I would still like to see some of the inventive labels making money when this all pans out.

Re: Push your Congressman to call for enforcement of Federal Law
You forget that our government officials are above the law. All those Obama appointees that didn't pay their taxes, the Bush admin example above, there was/is no recourse, no trials. If it were average Joe citizen the IRS would come down hard on him. And the stupid voters, although these Congress critters have an approval rating of around 20% seem to reelect 95% of the incumbents.

Yes. Fox News was the only major media that reported on the anthrax threat. Idiot! The entire media jumped on the hype. They are all in on the conspiracy...yes, there is one...shh!...I think someone is reading our comments...

If it had been possible for the past ten years to download nails, most of us would long ago have acquired all the nails we could possibly need, nail factories would have closed down, their workers and bosses found new jobs for themselves, and it would be a dead issue.
Yeah, they got new jobs and moved on. Recording industry...please do that! We don't need your services anymore. It is a dead issue.
