We can't tell you what pornography is, but we know it when we fap to it.
One does wonder how many other games are being denied a spot 'because reasons'.
We're going to use a secret measuring standard & never ever tell you what the standard is.
We're hoping you won't hold us to our decision to allow adult content, because then we'll have to decide what the line for boobs being to big is & everytime the staff tries to have a meeting about this all the tissues & lotion in the building go missing.
"Adult" things are a lightening rod for stupidity because so many people believe their morals should apply to everyone if they share them or not.
That even the glimpse of to much of a sideboob will turn a 10yr old boy into a sex maniac.
Its easy enough to put a gate in the way of kids getting access to the adult section (but as someone who knows what happens when you tell a teenager no) there is no 100% way. We need to stop pretending that sex is not fun & only should be used for procreation after marriage to an opposite sex partner or you're going to hell. An actual/VR sex worker explaining to an incel that he isn't entitled to get laid because he thinks so & that if you treat people better they treat you better would be amazing. But then this is a nation where women don't understand what can get them pregnant & men say stupid things like I can't make girls.
Yet we're still terrified if we explain sex to them, they might have sex... because no teenager has ever had sex without instruction on how to not get an STI. rolls his eyes
But then these moral upright people might not be able to enjoy Teen Mom or 147 Kids and Counting reality shows.

"Section 230 is to social media companies what the Cayman Islands has long been to the banking industry."
And the attempts to regulate the banking industry have also fallen prey to the lies coming from 1 side about what the laws should do and can do.
You fix the banking industry & then maybe we'll let you tell us how 230 is the worst thing ever compares to the .1% of the world controlling more money than many nations.

Sometimes you wish they'd just do the simple solution...
Elected officials are last in line.
Suddenly when they have to worry about themselves, they magically discover that whole humanitarian thing.
All of the politics and backroom deals just fade away when they can not have a shot until everyone in their country is vaccinated.
Given the limitations on production, cause whats wrong with just depending on other countries to make our things, they would personally deliver the the IP to all factories globally to make sure that there was plenty of vaccine for everyone and then some.
I personally am really rather irritated that officials who downplayed or ignored the pandemic were able to get shots before most citizens.
Oh Congress has the run the nation!!
Really? They've done fuck all for the last 4 years except benefit the wealthy and held the rest of us hostage.
If we forced them to be like us little people, you'd see how fast things would improve.

Re: Re:
looks at the political landscape
You mean telling people the reason they aren't better off is the fault of others & not because of your own poor decisions leads to stupidity?
recalls the news footage of a farmer happily smiling in a field of rotting produce
Well it was good they ran all of those migrant workers out of the state, and I had a couple people come to work but they all quit after an hour because it was hard work.
But I get a government check if I don't harvest so I don't care.
People told the migrants stole their jobs!
Then the reality that none of those people want to do that job in the first place.
But its the migrants fault, not their fault for thinking they are to good for that sort of work.
People are taught to believe rights are like pie, if someone else gets a slice you get a smaller slice. So they fight like hell to keep what is theirs & will even actively do things that harm them to keep their imaginary slice the same size.
The Happy Meal toys didn't make your kid fat lady, stop screaming at McDonalds & maybe look at the 'adult' who kept taking them there, purchasing them Happy Meals because they were unable to deal with the whining.
You raised kids who believed a rumor, couldn't puzzle out that they might not be qualified to drive that fast, & violated several traffic laws... but the app did it not your kid.

It would be nice if we could get a refund of his salary.
I mean I fudge $20 on a tax form and I get an IRS anal inspection, this goofy motherfucker blatantly lied repeatedly and not a damn thing will happen.
The regulatory capture by the industry they are supposed to oversee is 1 thing, but to accept boldfaced lies, Congress should get angry.
I mean now all citizens can see they were lied to & they responded with tell us more lies.

This will not be the first or the last time I point out we need to stop thwarting Darwin.
If they want to drink bleach, more power to them.
The problem can solve itself, that bleach will really clean up the genepool.
And yes I understand they might manage to harm their own children but that might be the only thing that finally snaps some of them back into reality.
I mean government sacrificed 500K+ people for 1 assholes ego, whats a few kids?
In my defense, as always... Sociopath.
Besides imagine the soundbites that will come from the elected trump faithful trying to avoid looking like they are responsible for any of these deaths while we show videos of them supporting the wackjobs theories.

"designed Snapchat’s reward system"
What reward?
Little Jimmy believes if he wears this cape from a halloween costume, he can fly like a real superhero.
Little Jimmy jumps off the garage.
Little Jimmy splats.
So we should sue:
Comic Book Publishers
The artists who created the hero he wanted to be
The company that sold the costume without a warning it can't make you fly
The company that made the garage climbable
The company that made the ladder Little Jimmy climbed
or
We should remove the child from his parents for his own safety.
Our children were mindcontrolled by the APP!
The drunk driver was forced to get drunk & drive again.
The addict was forced to shoot up again.
or
This is a horrible thing, but our kids chose to do this stupid thing.
I mean 17 is old enough to be tried as an adult for murder, but somehow they are just hapless babes lead astray.
Why aren't we suing the state for giving them a license, as its sorta of obvious they were not responsible enough to drive?
Why aren't we suing the phone maker for allowing snapchat to run on it?
Oh lets sue the carmaker too!
The dealer can offer me cocaine, but I have to purchase & use the drugs. You can blame my addiction or the dealer but I handed him money and then sorted the coke of the hooker ass all by myself.
Personal responsibility is dead.
Should we sue the parents for providing the smartphone & service to these children who were unable to understand the idea that going very fast can end very poorly?
I mean if they hadn;t given them the phone capable of running the app, or a car without limits on what a young driver can do this never would have happened and I'm pretty sure a parents duty to protect their child trumps any responsibility you can demand a corporation take for protecting your stupid child from making stupid decisions.
I think Snapchat was stupid to make this filter, but at no time did they offer cash or prizes to induce the behavior. They really needed a 10 yr old to ask the obvious question... won't stupid people do stupid things & then blame us for it?

Something something stop making stupid people famous.
We really need to stop pretending that there is any question about if vaccines are good or not.
