Re: Re: How about blaming the person who pulled the trigger rather than inanimate objects?
If he hadn’t had a trigger to pull, he might have found it a bit harder to kill so many people...
"Might." That's all you've got? He could've learned explosives tech (a la Timothy McVay or Unabomber), or just used knives or swords, or chemical weaponry (Carbon Monoxide, Ammonia, ...). They'd be just as dead.
You must be white (caucasian). I've read many screeds from blacks who scream its retirement is long past due.
Libertarians believe Lincoln and The Union were wrong in forcing the Confederates to remain in The Union. I abhor slavery, but I do believe states should have the right to seceed from the Union. I'm not in favor of forced marriages.
An travesty, it is. Don't you have anything better to do? Here, play with this: aneroebic.
Note some English words come from Greek (who knew?) while many others come from Latin, and the Greeks and Romans seldom agreed on anything (if they didn't have to).
It might be helpful to remember "our language" is inherited, and languages tend to evolve. You know, K&R C vs. ANSI Standard C.
"I before C except after E" works on Latin derived words, not Greek derived. Cf. "seismic."
Re: Re: Re: "even [FOR 3RD TIME] pointing out that these operations exist will grab you a heaping helping of anonymous troll scorn."
If you're referring to Russia's activity in Ukraine: Russia has taken a lesson from the US: don't wait for the enemy to set foot on your soil but take the fight to the enemy's soil.
Note, that part of Ukraine was part of USSR until Khruschev gave it to Ukraine (which is why East Ukrainians are largely Russian speakers), and the Russians have been there all along because their fresh water fleet is based there. Russia didn't need to invade when they were already there.
However, continue spouting the party line if it makes you feel good.

As the Islamic fascists butcher and slaughter without any hint of empathy for Iraqis.
Oh, come on. They're just Shias (ptheh!). Besides, Allah will sort it out in the end.
We'll all be in Elysium one day. Islamo fascisti just advance the timetable a bit. On the geologic timescale, we're all just dust under someone else's fingernails.
Why? I mean, really, going up against Putin's Russian gov't (or any 21st Century gov't)? Isn't that pretty much the definition of insane, or at least lost touch with reality? Why would the regime need to do anything to discredit her further? She's obviously nuts, likely suicidal, and possibly a danger to others. She's a genuine nutbar. She's Harper Lee's Boo Radly.
All that's ignoring the USSR's penchant for declaring dissidents insane.
Video games apparently are destined to fill that role until these idiots retire and the next generation of news people are in place, because those people will have grown up gaming if the statistics and demographics are any indication.
Good luck with that. Lots of pot smoking hippies grew up to be insurance salesmen and other captains of industry, all heartily in favor of the War On Drugs. They may be gamers now, but nothing's stopping them from becoming curmudgeons*, as many of them likely will.

Are you still convinced it's your gov't? Silly rabbit.

It happens. We had a nutbar here in Canada who decided to take out feminists. Columbine kids took out kids. Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, yada, yada.
Spartans tossed the defective ones off a cliff. We're more enlightened than that. Chuckle, chuckle.

I'm guessing that blindingly obvious spot you speak of isn't the trigger finger of the one who pulls it.
Wacko.

Nor I. How can anyone expect the losing side might follow such rules?
That also sounds like more likely lethal, obviating any need for surgery. In war, survivors can be a drain on the war effort.
