Actually, average_joe does not think at all, but you can state with reasonable certainty that this is how his tiny, little, plaqued-up brain works, which does not qualify as thinking, but rather random neuronal firing generating typing movements. A sort of internet epilepsy.

Instead of calling them "industry apologists", we should avoid the euphemisms and call them exactly what they are ' "thieving bastards and liars with no morals at all".

The Copyright Office works for.................
..........copyright holders, and the copyright holders alone. The public interest be damned is their motto, and I think a serious look at how many employees of this office later obtain gainful employment in the copyright MAFIAA is eminently warranted. Kind of like the generals and the military industrial complex.

Re: I'm curious!
Every forty-plus actress in the business thinks she looks younger than she actually is. Unfortunately for them, progressive lenses, Lasik and contacts have made this pretty much impossible to pull of anymore. And then there's 1080p HDTV. Give it up, girls.

Nadler and Kohl - finest representatives money can buy
Wonder who's paying those two scumbags for this bill? It sure as hell isn't something they dreamed up, but a script they were given. Hmmmmmm. Is that rotting fish I smell?

You really need to try and stop being such a twat. You are probably part of the twat fraternity that regularly regurgitates idiocy here, and should all be sterilized to prevent further propagation of regurgitating twits. Twat is as twat does.

Idiot cop? He's a pisspot wannabe cop. Mall cop. Whatever. If he ever confronted an actual criminal, he'd have to change his underwear at least twice - once during the actual encounter, and then after he woke up and thought about it again.

The US Chamber of Commerce is a criminal cartel.
Their entire purpose of existence is to thwart any consumer rights enforcement whatsoever, and to make everything and anything businesses desire to do legal and moral, so long as it benefits them. They are the one percent, and they want to keep the rest of us in the ninety-nine percent permanently, hopefully at the bottom end of the financial spectrum. As George Carlin said, "It's a big club, and you're not in it!"

I have a simple solution
If someone sues me for taking a picture of their face in public, which to me means any place other than their residences, then removing their face will prevent future copyright violations. Problem solved. (I'd use a fish fillet knife, thus preserving the underlying muscles and nerves, and then they could get a new face. Once they have someone else's face transplanted, they cannot validly claim copyright.).

I've watched Reefer Madness many times in the long ago past, and always while tuned up with a fatty. Even though I haven't done so in decades, I'd bet it's still a scream while straight.
