no, you are missing the point.
the NZ high court is saying that their court system should no longer just rubber stamp an extradition request simply because thats the way they used to do it. they have set the current standard to require that there actually be evidence to support the charges. if there is, they will extradite. if there is not, no extradition.
as far as an IT group goes, you would have to be a special kind of stupid to wind up blocking webex like that. i would say i agree and that it has got to be an upper management decision driving this... but sadly we are talking about the DOJ and its quite conceivable that we are talking about IT people that really *ARE* that special kinda stupid.
are you suggesting that everyone who goes to something like this is going to wind up taking what they may have learned and using it to buy a bottle of thunderbird?
cause, ya know.... i might be interested in that case....
You're the placekickers of "complex entertainment spectacles."
I take exception to this statement.
place kickers are a very specialized position in football and placekickers know exactly what they are doing and its a very difficult task with little glory and tons of stress. placekickers also know about everything else going on at the rest of the positions and are required to learn the playbook to the same depth as everyone else.
NBC is completely overpaid for knowing nothing and massively screwing up what they do know.
me thinks perhaps you are romanticizing that era just a tab bit.
there were several buggy games back then but you really couldnt do anything about it at that point. additionally, you have to admit that games have evolved a bit since then and are perhaps just a tad more complex these days.
and a democrat in the whitehouse who is supposedly a constitutional scholar in charge of these departments that we are talking about specifically. so your attempt to toss partisanship into the mix fails.
