Litmus Test: When the law is so messed up scammers are using it because the mere mention of it terrifies people perhaps its time for reform.
I mean I'm still getting multiple calls telling me crime has been done on my SS number & I should call them to sort it out before they send the police to get me.
Copyright is so lopsided, the punishments so out of line, & even on a good day you might manage to not lose your entire online presence after fighting for months b/c someone claimed ownership that was never theirs will never face any punishment.
Why wouldn't scammers use the implied threat of wiping you from the internet to make a few click bucks?

Someone needs to directly ask the top GOP figures in DC if destroying the republic over Trump is actually worth it.
While they might have a blood thirsty base that they've riled up and pointed at the other side, it seems they have forgotten that they can & will turn on a dime and go after them over any perceived slight. Suddenly it will be about cooler heads & trying to blame the other side... but you assholes remained silent after every Trump statement pushing violence as the answer... enjoy the whirlwind.

They want us to think the "bad guys" are hard to catch so they need to spy on everyone to keep us safe.
The problem is their desire for more more more makes them lazy.
When someone spends months on FB talking about shooting up a Synagogue & they never notice... but will spend hours screaming how unless this phone is unlocked people will die its hard to take them seriously.
The popular thinking is they need more more more, when they can't even see obvious things now. Perhaps its time to ask them about all of the plots & bad things that were planned in the open that they missed because they were more focused on what they imagine might be on a locked phone.

And a handy side effect of this is they now have access to all of her communications & contacts.
I'm SURE they would NEVER EVER use this information to punish people still in the system who expressed even the slightest bit of support. /s
From a many who swore he could be called directly to save seniors in homes after the hurricane & then just turned the phone off as the death toll mounted... oh and tried to make it harder to sue the hell out of the homes that left those in their care to die.

One might think that agencies often "misspeaking" about what they are actually doing might rate a tiny bit more than the lack luster response we are getting.
We proved they were spying on Americans in violation of the law, nothing happened. We have to give up all out rights or the terrorists win!!! The problem is the terrorists did win, we created them on both sides & ours are doing a fantastic job of keeping all of us in terror of what might happen if we don't let them lie, cheat, steal & violate the very bedrock of the nation.

I look forward to German artists screaming as they are hit with billions of dollars in damages for stealing the feel & vibe of works that came before.
Culture is meant to be built upon, not to provide an endless stream of income for your childrens childrens childrens 3 cousins twice removed.
If you think culture is alive & well I direct you to them closing down a CoVid testing location so they could shoot scenes for a GASP gender swapped remake of 'She's All That'.
Tell me again how all of these insane copyright demands aren't killing off creativity & I'll show you the huge amount of 'remastered' rerererrereleaseses of music nearing what should have been the end of their limited time.

Losing kids is easy... just look at how many children were lost in FL because CPS didn't bother to see if the kids were still alive... many of them weren't.

Human brains... technology will take care of everything & we never have to look at it again.
OMG HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN!!!!!
Maybe because we spend more time looking for petty reasons to make citizens lives a bit worse & refuse to make sure we hold our people to a standard, because we wear white hats & would never ever do anything bad.
I'm more curious about the paternity tests.
We love to punish deadbeat parents, but aren't so quick to fix errors.
While they say no criminal cases, how many might have been kicked off by a faked drug or baby daddy test?
Of course they will claim a deep investigation, but mainly to cover their own asses & try to protect themselves from civil cases when if we little people lie to the court we go to jail... the state lies & oh oppsie...
On the 10th day of Twitmo Twitter gave to me...NOTHING
No emails, no explanations & a spike in my depression.

That think where you give them an inch & they take a mile.
We let them take metadata with no other context & they decide who needs to die.
Fast forward to today & they can opt to use inaction & lies to murder citizens in the country by refusing to admit there is a pandemic.

Telling Conservatives that their poor followers are being censored in much worse ways by BigTelco.
Its none thing to think Twitter is hiding posts, but how much more of a crime is it when BigTelco won't even let you have the seat at a table at any price, despite all citizens paying into a massive fund to connect everyone thats only ever paid for trips for BigTelco ownership.
These BigTelco bastards are SILENCING the true americans in fly over country while enjoying handout from the government.

Something something when the image of the thing is the most important thing, the first victim is integrity.
Cops covering for cops who do horrible things.
Perhaps we've allowed perverse thinking to win.
I can't report on my buddy diddling the 6th grader, b/c other cops will call me a rat & maybe not have my back.
Some of them might support their right to diddle 6th graders, but much of this is the tribal thinking of us vs them... the problem is that we're them & we end up paying the bill for their bad acts. Hell most of the time we can't even demand the child diddler be fired b/c out leadership fears the thin blue line more than us... because we somehow think they are protecting us when its becoming clear they are doing more crime than they are stopping.
They put the image of a police department sexually abusing children ahead of protecting children. To make Popehat twitch, how the fsck is this not RICO?
An ongoing criminal enterprise, stealing public funds, subverting authority & law, b/c allowing them to keep diddling kids was a small price to maintain their image of good upstanding people.
