The media and the folks "representing" content creators have been pumping billions into propaganda campaigns. It seems that a real effort needs to be made to educate the decision makers in the justice department and the FBI about this...
It stops with them... They're the only ones who are not responsible. They'll be coming for us next, because we know it happened and stood by and watched.

It is possible that they are using it to make some money on the deal... If you have used any of the free conference services, you might see that you get this service for free and wonder how they pay their bills. Mike had an article on how they make money. Maybe Skype is using this same loophole to make some money on the calls.
With the constantly changing prices, different sources, etc... You have no idea what the guy (or girl) next to you paid for their flight, unless you ask. it could be less or more...
...I don't buy movies I have not seen. As I only very rarely go to the movie theater, I rent before I buy. All they are doing is pushing back the day I'll buy a movie.
Have the agree with you there, bob. I remember that years ago, Sony used to be my go-to company for technology, worth paying a premium for. Their recent and current direction in proprietary formats and anti-consumer practices has turned my off. Now I'll walk right by a Sony product.
I have an HTC phone, as well (the G1), it is actually my 3rd (all t-mobile branded, the MDA, the Dash), and I agree that their software is not what has me buy the phone.
I don't like the fact that they are getting nasty about it. For gosh sake! Can't you let people have a choice?
This is the most innovative win-win idea that I have heard. The largest problem that we have is that there is no motivation for the companies in the healthcare game to promote true wellness. If they were to do that, their products and services would become obsolete, and with no new business model, they would die.
If the businesses who would benefit from wellness would sponsor it, like you suggested, we could really get somewhere in solving a lot of the world's health problems.
I read an article this morning @ Wired, that Verizon is going to charge extra for the Exchange Support... ($15/mo)
I actually dropped my private exchange account when I moved from Windows Mobile to the G1, and am very happy with it, but this may not be an option for some enterprise users.
...Why do they have to give 2 years notice? I mean any contract that requires that would give me pause. I mean: "I no longer see value in what you do for me, so I agree to pay you for 2 more years"

Trademark would not have worked either. it would only have stopped someone from using it for a product, not reporting on it... :-)
