It seems that some idiots insist on being public idiots even once their idiocy is so clearly illustrated in public... Oh well. I guess that once an idiot, always an idiot!
And you wonder why I call it Comcrap? I have to deal either with AT&T or Comcrap. I have AT&T now. I will NEVER subscribe to Comcrap. I am NOT a happy camper! Our community was going to install a community owned fiber to the home internet a few years ago, AT&T and Comcrap spent million$ to defeat the referendum, which they did. I recently spoke with some neighbors about that. They all said that they voted against the referendum because of the bogus advertising by those ISP's, and now all wish they had not... We all now spend more, but get less...
If it exists in nature, then it must be natural. Naturally, therefor, shit is 100% natural. Do I want it in my food? It depends. Bees shit honey (I think)... Dog poo? No thanks!
I think this falls into the category of "Beware what you wish for - you just might get it!". Personally, I hope that China (or someone - anyone) will be able to give our corporations a big kick in the ass and a black eye for being such greedy assholes!
I suppose he was appointed by Governor Christie? No one else would appoint a judge so deficient in knowledge of Constitutional principles. Oh, there is Brownback in Kansas, Walker in Wisconsin, ... Never mind.
"Let's hope the US and EU aren't foolish enough to follow suit by allowing corporate sovereignty to reign over them even after TAFTA/TTIP is terminated." I guess hope springs eternal, but I suspect that isn't going to work well in this case. In the case of TPP and TTIP, the inmates truly do run the asylum!
What we need are those rotating license plate housings like what James Bond had back when. Get license plates in multiple states, mount them in the housing, and every time you visit some burg that has LPR's, you switch plates to another state... Oh, and use a different name when you get those plates. :-)
The technical term for this is NP-hard. Whether or not it is impossible to accomplish before the heat-death of the universe may be in question. That it is impossible before the sun goes nova is not...
It is the Hypocritical Department of Hypocrisy. It's mandate is to provide government officials with plausible reasons why when they do something illegal, it is in the best interests of the nation, but when someone else does the same, they are terrorists or worse! FWIW, it IS a bipartisan department...
One hopes that McLellan sues the IRS, and wins, for mispression of a felony (I think that's the right term) in that they illegally deprived him of his income and assets and are trying to hide it under a plethora of legal BS. That is theft under color of authority. I'm not a lawyer, but I know a lot of legal terms! :-)
Today, Adolph would be right at home with the Tea Party and GOP. They are just a bunch of fascists who want to determine what all of us do and believe, without restrictions. Constitution? What's that?
I know a LOT of independent musicians who make a decent (if difficult) living working their craft. They publish their own CD's, tour constantly, and work hard doing all of this. Some are award winning artists (Grammy, etc), and some simply are mostly musical educators (Sparky and Rhonda Rucker teaching school kids about the Civil War, with music and stories). The "Labels" and RIAA have zip to do with their work, and in fact get in the way of it!
I think that even Richard the 8th would be spinning in his grave! He may have taken the heads of people who expressed things he disagreed with, but at least they would have had the opportunity to express them first!
We're the government, and we are her to help you, by relieving you of your hard earned assets and cash! And remember, you can't sue us, because we are the government!... So, take what we offer, and be happy about that.
For all the wrong reasons, this is the best news I've heard today! Ok Barack, it is time to let the American people see what you have been negotiating behind our backs, so we can tell you just how we feel and what we think about it! Fast track? Over my dead body! We have a right to know what you are trying to do in our name!
The CIA specializes in disinformation (lying). If you believe anything that any agent or officer of the agency says, you are a fool! Just look at Clapper if you want proof of that!
