This is almost as entertaining as a news outlet covering a viral clip & then taking down the original clip as they now own the rights to it b/c they broadcast it.
They will spend more time claiming its all a plot to stop them by the other side, rather than admit they unleashed an industry to steamroll citizens on the off chance they might lose an imaginary dollar.
But despite all the hopes & dreams, they are beholden to the United Corporations of Tax Havens LLC. giving them the dollars so they can lie to us that they care about us and will level the playing field, while claiming competition can happen with only 1 competitor on the field.

We have always hidden the truth, why should we stop now.
Even in the face of having disappeared scientists who tried to save lives by sounding the alarm, they still think they can pretend its not happening.
The whole we want a harmonious society thing is a good goal, the means by which they obtain it needs work.
Hiding illness.
Hiding tofu-construction killing children.
Hiding reality.
Hiding leaders pocketing dollars meant to benefit citizens.
While they are so busy trying to crack down on the little people, they have gone full Helen Keller on the evils the leadership are committing.

With all of these stupid lawsuits coming from elected leaders & those seeking that position perhaps we need to make them past a civics test before they can run for office.
We force immigrants to answer questions about the history of America that a huge majority of "real" Americans couldn't pass, so if they want to run the country perhaps we should make sure they understand the basic principles the country is founded upon.

Google is not the government.
Google is not bound by the 1st amendment.
They can run their platform how they want.
Someone running for president should actually have a grip on reality & not try to cash in on the "they block me for being x" bandwagon.
But please go on how not forcing platforms to carry speech is the end of all the human rights. I'll call Westboro and tell them you have no problem with them coming to your house & spewing their hate from your property.

BUT BUT BUT THEY WERE ALL CAMPAIGN EMAILS!
The problem is not all campaign emails are the same.
Some follow a "tried & true" pattern that they have always used & OMG those get flagged as promotions b/c it looks like 5000 other promotion emails.
Sometimes the "tried & true" pattern is adopted by scammers to look more legit. (Side note 45 emails about my apple account sent to an email I rarely use... some look convincing).
Everyone wants to find a pattern of abuse to tie together all of the crazy ideas & make them be true... and not just unrelated things that sometimes happen.
People believe stupid things.
When the No Call List was suggested, they quickly moved to make sure political calls didn't get stopped.... because everyone loves politicians so much. I'm sure there were evil thoughts about how 1 party would block the other.
Why did they never consider making political calls opt-in?
Why not let people who don't want 300 surveys & campagin calls not get them??
If politics is so beloved of course people would opt-in!!
Oh and we need to keep those robocallers in business, even if in doing this we cleared the path for bad actors to get confirmed lists of numbers to abuse.

Your parents don't trust you, decided spying was a better way to do it, & now your deepest darkest secrets are out there on the web.
Dear parents if you think STALKING your child is the correct way to parent, you have failed.
If you think your kids will thank you someday, stop doing drugs.
You have damaged any shot you had knowing anything about your kids lives. You have shown you are not trustworthy & will treat them not as people but as targets to be secretly monitored.

Re:
Yes because people always spit unprovoked.
Neat how you talk about abusing the prisoner & yet manage to avoid the simple concept of if you treat them like shit they will treat you like shit.
They are prisoners, they are in prison... that is supposed to be the punishment. They aren't supposed to be abused by guards who just need to shove someone down to feel better about themselves.
In Florida they boiled a man to death, faced no charges.
Somewhere in the south a warden was PISSED that word got out about how many prisoners "mysteriously" died in custody & photos of crumbling buildings, no heat, no running water, pest infestations. (To be fair I might be linking 2 different events together.)
How we treat the least of us is supposed to reflect on society...
What a shitty society.

But the headlines they got for making it more expansive were so helpful. You label them a sex offender & people KNOW how horrible a person they are:
sexting
peeing in an alley
Romeo & Juliet star crossed lovers separated in age by a year
and a host of things most people don't consider sex.
Sex Offender Registries are a tool, the problem is there are not that many actual hard core sex offenders. So they expand & expand the 'rules' of who goes on the list to they can tout their wins.
See Also:
"OMG A MAN IN A WHITE VAN LOOKED AT ME AT TARGET!"
"OMG 10 Trillion teens are trafficked to fsck everyone at the 'Big Game' 14 times over."
"OMG a 12 yr old walked to the corner store... ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!"
Fear & Panic create shitty laws & make society shittier.
Yes there are those we should keep tabs on, but if they are actually that dangerous why are they not still locked up?
Who would balk at life behind bars for someone who raped a baby?
Who would cheer forcing a guy to register for life for the drunken mistake of peeing in an alley?
Does having him on a list make us safer?
Does the list not explaining the actual crime make us safer?
Does encouraging everyone to just see SORA & treat him like Typhoid Mary make us safer?
Does this make us safer as we keep destroying his life over 1 minor non-event making breaking the law the only way he can survive?
We need attention spans & to give up the keep stuffing things into the definition of a label until it truly is pointless & harms more than it helps.

Well gee why would a corporation that transports lots of people around the country want to piss off CBP??
I mean its not like there are stories about border agents taking peoples cars apart & leaving them in pieces to prove they are in charge.... er wait.
Imagine how politely CBP agents would treat any company that would refuse them what they wanted, legal or not??
I mean they leave sick kids alone in cages to die, lie about checking on them, edit the video and I haven't heard about any charges yet. They rape migrants, heck they even hired a couple serial killers...
Yep, they totes would accept someone standing up for the rights of citizens to not be forced to provide their papers when the nice men in the brown uniforms demand to see them & make sure everyone is wearing the right identifiers on their clothes.

Something something courts pretend that lawyers would NEVER do something even in the face of that lawyer pulling his dick out an pissing on the bench while singing showtunes.
Democrats keep thinking Trump would never do that, because thats now how we've done it before... they get shocked just shocked.
Judges keep thinking lawyers before them would never lie to then, despite the huge pile of examples showing that.
Society keeps thinking cops are honest hard working people who never harm any innocents, despite evidence to the contrary.
Perhaps it is time we stop relying on the "good image" of a group & remember they are merely humans & some humans are horrible people.
If they show you who they are and you keep insisting they could never do that because of label assigned to them perhaps you are the problem.
Not all cops are from Mayberry.
Not all lawyers are Matlock.
They are merely humans, who can be flawed & horrible people.
When the alleged protections against bad behavior are never invoked until the 1000th time perhaps it is time to ask why we refuse to believe them when they are screaming at us that they are bad. This lawyer has shown he doesn't care about courts, the law, or decorum, he wants to get the pound of flesh for his clients at any cost... even ignoring the law, and he is enabled by courts who can read a subpoena for a completely unrelated entity & say okay dokey he would NEVER use this case to help another case.
Rules are cool... but they need to be enforced early and often if you want to them remain respected, handing out passes merely teaches them they don't need to ever worry about the rules.
