Note that the 'illegal' bit is the entering the back yard without permission. Painting the apple tree isn't. Especially if you can paint it from somewhere else that isn't her property.
Most girls who I've seen play hockey in Europe don't wear tons of body armour and are bloody scary. If you bet on a fight between the average male rubgy team and the average female hockey team, I know which I'd put my money on.
And only a couple of European countries are 'bankrupt'. Shall we say that the US is bankrupt because some states or cities are?
It's almost like they think the passengers 'owe' them a full fare or something.
It's a bit like a movie company saying that because you bought their movie in a bargain bin for £3 instead of the original £15 you've 'cheated' them of £12!
Yes, we very very carefully destroyed their deuterium extraction plants in Norway, and we did a pretty good number on their industrial capacity. Just to be sure, we invaded them as well.
That was in the middle of an all-out war though. I'm sure export controls like this totally stop anyone going out and buying/reverse engineering these. Totally.
And do we really think that "Eye-ranians" (or however you mispronounce it this week) have to buy from the US - they can't just walk into Abu Dhabi or Paris or Geneva or Singapore and buy one there?
If you borthered to research this site at all, 'Audrey' (and how can I be sure that's your name, it might be Emily for all I know!) you would know that anyone posting anonymously is called 'Anonymous Coward'. It is still possible to post anonymously but with an identifiable name, like yourself - and points to you for doing that, but I still see an awful lot of pot, kettle and sheer blackholeness.
There is still some expectation of some privacy. By your argument, when outside, you won't mind clipping on a microphone so that the 'guvmint' can record everything you say, and a GPS transponder so it can see where you go. Because "you have no privacy in public". Lousy argument that has so much room for destroying all sorts of Amendment rights. You should always have some reasonable expectation of privacy, even if it's just to mutter under your breath. What, they've invented machines for picking sub-vocalisations and thoughts? Better get fitted with one quick!
While we're at it, why not let all the intelligent, non-psychotic and decent (i.e. with hearts) Americans move north and make Canada a shining beacon of intelligence, education and human decency? :)
You're thinking of volume. He used the correct formula for the surface area of a sphere (4 x pi x r^2), since he's talking about stacking computers ON the Earth, not how many you could squeeze into it. Remember, you can theoretically stack an effectively infinite number of computers onto the surface.

What is seen as 'ethical' is often redefined by a new generation. Other people have to learn to deal with this.
