Coelho has seen the light -- he clearly recognizes how file sharing works in his favour and actually serves to expand his revenue. This works through a variety of channels and consumer effects, but the bottom line is that he has embraced it and is now better off.
He must have auther (and musician, etc) friends, some of which are likely to still be staunchly opposed to filesharing. What does/would Paolo say to those friend to try to help them understand what is going on?
That's because you are mainly quotes by circle jerk knob jobs from your industry (and its patron, the cria and members) who think it is normal to force other to ask permission where none should be needed. Credit, sure, but not permission. You got credit.
Wouldn't this be logically equivalent to declaring it illegal to listen to a conversation between two parties shouting at each other across a field using megaphones/bullhorns?

Wrong again (I think that's strike 3 for you, but since you won't register, we can't keep track of your comments).
The price and the value are completely disjoint. You may price your music at $10, but I don't value it at all. They are not the same.
Similarly, a band may hand out free CDs for promo at a show. I paid nothing for it, but I highly value the music because it's good and I got the band to sign the liner.

Provably false
They're $1.99 and even include instructions on how to "play" the songs. How dare they encourage such flagrant copying?!

Either somebody is impersonating Nicedoggy, or his IP keeps changing which changes the Identicon.
Get an account and prevent impersonation.

But that copy will obviously (in most cases) be fake. It fails the authenticity test.
People want real money because it's authentic.
Authenticity is one of those things that is Better Than Free. http://www.kk.org/thetechnium/archives/2008/01/better_than_fre.php
