People who built a moat of quicksand to protect their IP, shocked just shocked, that it has expanded and is now pulling them down.
Of course they only want to fix the little bits that are harming them today, ignoring that building a massive quicksand moat is a bad thing as it will eventually suck everything into it.
We need copyright reform based in reality, pay the creators & stop funding the lifestyles of the offspring 40 years later.

Things we should know but can't...
How many FISA applications have been made & approved against people who said things that hurt Trumps feels on teh twitters?
He see's the massive power other dictators are able to wield using the resources of their nation to jail people who make Lord of the Rings jokes & wonders why he can't jail people who say his makeup looks like he was licking the bottom of a bag of cheetos.
Don't try to tell me he hasn't tried or cooler heads prevailed.
Shoot them in the leg, moat, spikes, CBP hassling the fake news...
Yeah there is no way he could be THAT petty....
Wanna buy a bridge in Brooklyn?

Thankfully none of the people inside decided to run, they would have been executed because the cops know people in WI have weapons to fend off horny moose & they were afeared that they might be mistaken for a moose.

Something something isolated examples, does not define the high standards we have for our employees.
Perhaps its time we the people start asking why these people have so much unchecked power?
They were complaining they couldn't get people to join CBP b/c of the bad reputation, so they were only getting lesser candidates... who they took and gave power over other people.
I look forward to seeing Trump in a Qaudafiesque Moo Moo talking about how powerful he is...

If you are against this you hate America...
1 soundbite from 1 talking head and every single Congresscritter tells us to bend over and accept it.
For all of the expansive, costly, and mostly useless projects & programs we have nothing to show for it beyond demands for more overreach.
We deserve better.
We deserve laws & rules based on solid science & solid evidence.
We deserve to have all of the rights they claim citizens have, not having them chipped away.
We deserve that those defending us play by the rules & not be enabled by courts deciding that the target was "bad" enough to not deserve protection from existing laws.
We can't comment on these ongoing investigations, blah blah blah.
How about a list of actual terror plots stopped, that were NOT driven by a CI roping some morons into a trap.
We fear all of these outside threats while they are STILL trying to figure out if these 12 burned houses of worship might be a pattern as they walk past the burned wooden crosses put on the lawn & the swastikas spray painted everywhere.
We can no longer stay the course & keep assuming 1 more round of rights limited/removed will FINALLY keep us safe, there is more then enough evidence everything they have done in the name of our safety haven't resulted in reasonable returns on the investment.

"based on significant misunderstandings of the District’s actions"
Please explain how I am misunderstanding you yanked a child out of his class room, forced him to strip, stared as his anus, & didn't follow the rules?
I want you to explain how there is any fuscking way to misunderstand this.
Either you are brain damaged from the power you have over these kids or your a fscking pedophile with really odd kinks.
Either way you need to be removed & perhaps we should see how many other children were to traumatized to report you doing this to them, fearful of what you woudl do if they told you sick fucks.

Content Moderation Myths.
1 - No one will ever report for fun.
2 - If we tell them the rules, they will try to get around them in the worst possible ways.
3 - Its best to outsource this work & never review the decisions.
4 - Never admit fault, never take blame, always leave them fearful that speaking out might lead to worse happening.
Pretending mass reporting isn't a real thing is stupid.
It is a sport for some trolls, but just in case we need to punish you for what others claim offended them.
(See also teacher murdered for unfounded allegations of insulting the prophet, all the people in Turkey who Gollum thinks might have said mean things about him. People murdered over rumors spread on social media in other countries.)
You can see real world examples of how this is the shittest way to deal with it, but they all do it.
You've broken a rule we haven't even invented yet you are banned!
And they wonder why users are upset & traffic is dropping, because they are getting afraid of being the next person to be on triple secret probation because of some unknown law that this typo is now viewed as being a white power symbol.
Have the reviews done by non-native speakers, the problem thing being removed from all context, & no other information offered.
We had 300 complaints about this feed!!!
Huh did you know 150 of those are from accounts they only seem to submit similar complaints over and over??
The other 150 accounts were created today from the same IP addresses.
We can't tell you sorry, and mean it. We can't tell you if anything happened to those who reported you. It might make people fear reporting, even if everything points to them being part of a coordinated effort... we can't risk bad publicity! Not doing SOMETHING is always much worse than doing something stupid.
(See also Patriot Act, TSA, Qualified Immunity)
It is impossible to craft rules, because everyone isn't on the same page. Calling myself a bundle of sticks (because why not use my own experience??) doesn't offend me & it hardly raises my eyebrow when others use it... but someone else MIGHT be deeply offended so its best to decide if someone complains that the use is then bad, but only for you not the other 3000 examples you can find some clearly meant to be offensive.
The problem is this magical idea that somehow we can keep everyone from being upset & we have to act immediately.
You can't, it's not possible, stop.
If someone says a bad word, let people press a button and never have to hear that person again. Stop pretending that if the words still exist on the platform that somehow the universe is unbalanced.
People are willingly abdicating taking responsibility for themselves & it really needs to stop.
You can't make that, its fattening!
Yes we can, some people know how to enjoy them as sometimes treats not a meal.
You can't offer toys, that makes children fat!!
Yes we can, some parents actually gasp can tell their children no, like they are supposed to.
You can't have them flavored, its only done to lure in kids!!
Yes we can, unless you ban all flavors in everything you don't really care about the children do you?
If someone says something that offends you, ignore them.
Press the button to mute them forever.
Do not give into the skinner box response of press the report button & get a warm fuzzy having them booted out... because you just encourage that behavior & then are awash in reports as people try to score points in their heads... meanwhile things that are really disturbing & worrying slide under the radar because you are looking at the wrong things.

Just because they are old does not mean they are wise.
Perhaps it is time to go back to the good old days of putting them on ice floes and letting them fend for themselves rather than bring ruin to the community because those whippersnappers need to understand until a court tells them, in a published opinion, that stealing is a crime.

You mean those companies who advertise speeds UP to, "unlimited", & keep raising fees for no reason other than they can might lie about something that might hurt their bottom line??
Say it isn't so!
They've had decades & billions of dollars, not managed to do much with it other than offer lip service. For a small portion of what we've given them a town can build out a network that puts them to shame & pay for itself... who'd have thunk??

It's almost like they don't work for the people who elected them, just those who hand them the most money.
I mean why not go back to the original pipeline plan that didn't run through land sacred to people or water ways a spill would destroy.
Oh that's right, it would have run by a bunch of NIMBY white folk who worried about a spill hurting their town.
