This study really says a lot about myself, a recent college grad.
I no longer own a CD player (other than the one that came in my car) and I actually just donated my CD collection (over 120 CDs) to charity, not because I'm generous but because no body wanted them.
I wrote a blog post once about a friend of my wife's that was pretty insulting. The story didn't name her by name and it was totally factual and largely un-embellished, but of course if she ever read the post she would know it was her.
So, is that grounds for libel? Seems like there's a fine line there.
Rim should have gave India all the permissions they wanted to intercept traffic then when the Indian Gov't came back asking why they couldn't read it, just replied
"Sorry we figured you guys were smart enough to figure that part out on your own!"
No wonder tech support it so poor! It's all outsourced to INDIA!
I quite using Ebay a long time ago based in the idea J threw out. why pay fees twice. Get hit with Ebay fees then paypal fees! It's the same company, quit pretending you aren't double charging us!
I just use Amazon to buy and sell most all my stuff now.
It's too bad that the record companies don't start doing this. Fact of the matter is, most people are going to download the album as opposed to buying a physical copy of it.
They could make more money by selling a value added package instead of just losing all their money to piracy or losing most of their money to Itunes.
Wow, the university I went to for 5 years (yes I was a second year senior, my home for years, my place or work and my neighbors all have wi-fi beaming 24/7.
So if wi-fi were harmful, I'd probably be growing some strange tumors by now wouldn't I? Being that I've constantly been exposed to it for over half a decade.
I just ripped a DVD I rented from Blockbuster for you Bro!
Seriously though, whats the harm in letting someone store a pay-per-view movie on their DVR? Or at least let them store it for a week. Blockbuster at least gives you a week to return movies!
This is why folks like me have resorted to renting movies, ripping them to my hard drive and bypassing the whole DVR thing in favor of a mediacenter PC that I just stream the copied movie to my TV with.
Oh, and out of spite I make copies of all my movies for friends and family.
I work for a county government. A while back we were having a problem with our net connection being slowed to a crawl. Turns out it was because a few of the fire departments had a 24/7 live feed going from a website called feed the deer.
So go figure, the dummies ruined it for everyone else. Organizations have to kill things like video feed.
You can't filter out everything but you can filter out porn, phishing sites and proxy bypass sites. Lock up the DNS settings in your router and you're set!

I get this also, it's called speed boost and that golden 24Mbps only lasts for about 30 seconds of the initial download. After that the powerboost.

Right now the FCC censorship doesn't totally extend to non-broadcast stations. Though, I believe they're trying to change that.
