"Capitalism isn't about gaining a near monopoly position, and then using that position to wipe your competitors out."
Still trying to find how google is wiping out bing, yahoo, baidu, and the other 50 dozen or so spiders that crawl my sites.
"When was the last time you saw another search engine rank high on Google? It doesn't happen, even if they have some of the best results or relevant links on their search results. Google doesn't index it."
Beg to differ here, as google routinely indexes other search engines, especially if they are more relevant to the source. Looking for items in Japanese, or Russian, I'm usually sent to search engines based in that locale, and not google.ru or google.jp
"Google's main over all plan is to get in the middle of every transaction, to sell ads while doing it, and make money. Their sideline to that is eliminating or putting down any competition that can take away from that goal."
Advertisers main overall plan is to get in the middle of every show, whine when you skip over them, and make money by outbidding their competition. FTFY
I believe this smells like the same old crap from OOTB's 100 year old monopolies that just got renamed for modern times. Ma Bell and all her 100 or so children is alive and well, separate bank accounts or not, I am sure that money is like a game of round robin, and shows up in the pocket of whoever needs it. The dinosaurs can't compete, they won't dip into their fat incentive packages to develop, and instead whine about how google has gotten too big.
"Why not declare war on Islam while you're at it, see how far that gets you."
Haven't we already done that? Racial profiling at airports, check. Instigated programs to report your neighbor, check. Detention until confession, check.
Sounds eerily like Pope Innocent III and his Maleus Malificarum. The basis for the Spanish inquisition ad later on rebastardized for the Salem Witch Trials.
for all the AC comments, we need a license plate cover with the "seized" tshirt motif.
officer: "you have drugs in your front seat, I'm going to have to seize your license plate"
dealer: "NOOOOOOO...I paid good money for the plate CRK2KDS"
officer: "your loss..we might get in touch in a decade or two to take to to trial, and try not to get rid of the drugs first please, so we actually have evidence when you go to court...maybe...someday.....got any donuts?"
[mystery machine/eagle mobile drives off with eagles instead of plates]
but but I liked the idea of the naked coven tech support that was being offered! You know, the ones that come to your house and dance naked windershins around your computer desk chanting:
"wi yu no run li nux win doe is junk"
As they broke your window, you must also get them for hacking as well. As it stands with what what was said, you could have left the window down (unsecured wireless access point) and still have the same bullet points.
Lol, I'm waiting for the trademark letter to come from the "English Female Writer that Shall Not Be Named" for dilution of her "shall-Not-Be-Named" brand.
We should have a 5-ring sport to see who gets the most c&d letters for a single post...
lol, next up Carreon suing funnyjunk for hosting image, claims to represent himself and funnyjunk...plays both defense and prosecution. Asks himself an impossible question, and short circuits like the androids of Harry Mudd.
on a side note. It is truly a shame that the commonwealths and republics of the country don't have the strength to secede from the Union. Maybe if we go that way, only certain states will get affected...
Better yet, lets download all congresscritters, lobbyists, and tsa agents and make them play videogames for their survival...I'm sure someone here can come up with a good MCP.
According to Microshaft's Category Definition page, "Gambling : Gambling Web sites are sites where a user can place a bet or participate in a betting pool (including lotteries) online; obtain information, assistance or recommendations for placing a bet; receive instructions, assistance or training on participating in games of chance. "
It's obvious Microshaft believes FSF's own definition, "The FSF advocates for free software ideals as outlined in the Free Software Definition, works for adoption of free software and free media formats, and organizes activist campaigns against threats to user freedom like Windows 7, Apple's iPhone and OS X, DRM on music, ebooks and movies, and software patents." is a gamble.
As we've seen in the past, activism can sometimes hurt as much as it helps, but it does do what it is supposed to do, get the message to the general public, so in this case, it is a "powerball lottery". Too bad Microshaft stopped at the word "power" and forgot the rest for themselves, while classifying everyone else as a lottery.
Found Bob.....he's playing HBO shill while torrenting GoT and getting payola from the *iaa's and blowing it on smack and "cultured female mobile GPS units" found at 1st and Broad...
Bob/TAM/AD usually show up when "Free" is mentioned more than three times in a single comment/post. Then they do their best to give their "free" opion on anything that is "free"....oh hell.....3.....2.....1.....
