I find negative reviews with comments helpful when trying to find a new service company. First of all you know it is not posted by a shill. Secondly, reading the comments you can decided whether the person is complaining is i complete jerk. How a company handles problems that occur is a good indication of their regular service level.
Many of the Dr Who fans that watched the show on WTTW in Chicago would donate during pledge drives on Dr Who simply because that would keep the station offering it. If this program is good why woudn't people give money to keep it going. After all, people kept buying Star Trek materials even after the show was cancelled.
Ah, the Gentile bible. How about the Jewish Torah or Islamic scriptures or any of the other holy books that attempt to explain the universe accord to god.
The New York Times adopted a limited paywall for their commentary. They eventually had to drop it. I know they talk about doing it again, but quite frankly I think it is likely to fail again. I know I was not interested the first time because while they have interesting writers, there are hundreds of interesting writers and not all of them will charge, so you will alway be competing with free.
"and to find ways to rein in the open-plains marauding afforded by the browser-driven internet." Which needs to be done why? Did you miss when this all started up and sites charged for everything? They stopped because the price point moved toward zero. Plus no one uses just the smartphones you need a computer to really work.
If it is the business of government to preserve American jobs, why aren't they raiding Walmart. Its full of made in China knockoffs of American clothes.
So you are saying that 50 who are willing to spend a fair sum of money on a political candidate would be told to go somewhere else? Really? Then why worry about lobbysists in Washington?
There is also one book called "The River" which links it to oral polio tests in the Congo. The Video made on the book is supposed to have been suppresed. It was made in the Quebec Provence.
If rights are God given, why are they always given through governments. Are all government leaders divinely appointed?
When AT&T was a monopoly they had to supply a phone to a person with a medical need.
Re: Re: Since when have we ever preserved history?
The problem is that digital is being sold as permanent when in fact it is useless much quicker than older media. Ihave prints of photos from the 1950's if they were on 5 1/4 computer disks how accessable would they be. Plus some of the better film types are no longer available. Kodachrome was a great archival film and you can no longer buy it or get it processed.
