Delist everything related to anybody and give them links to weather forecast every time they search for anything related to anyone with a disclaimer: this is what the right to be forgotten will bring you eventually, have fun Europe.
What if you need the data? What if they decide you must hand in your passwords to digital services?
The War on Terror (TM) is just a show. It was lost the moment it was declared and civil, human rights started being dismantled and ignored because of it.
So your advice is: just let things go to hell. Not. Teaching critical thinking and how to avoid such traps is essential. It may not be 100% effective but it will help curbing at least the most egregious cases. Nobody, not me, not you is immune to being fooled every once in a while. But it's better than being fooled daily.

So regulations were being crafted and Enron screwed things during the process of them being crafted and not being enforceable but due to some legal framework (seemingly not enough to stop things earlier) already there they were still able to punish a few people. Thanks for adding to my point.
"Cannizzaro's office now has multiple opportunities to see what it feels like to be a defendant, and most likely will be the recipient of genuine subpoenas demanding compliance under the pain of actual jailing."

Re: Re: Re: Re: It's Time For The FCC To Actually Listen:
It takes a really bad knowledge of recent history to forget that the lack of proper regulations lead the world to 2008 for instance. Point the guy to "Inside Job" and it's easy to show how bad the lack of proper regulations is. Of course there are previous examples as well (Enron, Madoff etc)

Oh yes, wisestest human being of the universe! Not. You are so full of bs that you got a two awesome insightful posts shredding your arguments one after the other. Congratulations I guess?
It will also not be fixed within a generation life span. I'd argue we'd need changes in how we deal with education out there to prepare people to be critical thinkers instead of bots that can do math and spew biology, chemistry knowledge they memorized. I'd argue that if we start now it'll still take more than 30 years to solve the problem.
Why don't the theater owners stop being asses and let people watch Netflix stuff in the big screen if they want? Two can play that game. Windows will only serve to prop piracy.
Original Netflix productions, original "Flix" Awards embracing everybody including those who are in other awards even if they refuse to attend personally? I smell the threat from several hundred kilometers...
I'm pretty sure the govt can butt in if needed. Think things like Shkreli and that insane price increase he imposed on meds. Here the Government didn't directly set the prices but they broke some patents when the Pharma got too greedy.
If you ask people "should govt fix prices?" you'll get one answer but "should govt take measures to prevent price abuse when concerning life-saving drugs?" you'll get the exact opposite reaction.
I wonder how much of this was due to Snowden and the public debate he generated. You don't rubberstamp everything for years to suddenly stop because 'compliance issues'. Or so I'd think.
O lol, just noticed the trolling you engaged. Feeling hurt much? Getting a lot of money from the Thai govt to troll? In any case, my reply still stands.
