I always find it funny when you see Brits portrayed on an American show, possibly using reasonsble British jargon, until such time as they refer to "The Big Dipper" or something else like that which they simply wouldn't say.
But notice they are not the same as "unflammable". Just because one pair of English words are weird doesn't mean that others don't mean the same thing as each other.
Unfortunately, it's apparent that your inability to read (which definitely is not the same as 'ability') renders you clueless (which does mean 'less a(ny) clue') about where Mike actually explains the different meanings (not 'mean' as in nasty, which is what you're being) of the word 'copy' for copy and copyright in the original post.
So has Mike reached back in time to before he was even born to generate confusion in people's minds about how words were used back in the 17th Century compared to the 21st Century? Wow, if he has that power, we should get him to use this new Super Power for Good!
Ah well, guess I can call you a Scunthorpe all I like then?
Thanks darryl. We were missing the unnecessary personal attacks in this otherwise civilised discussion.
Tell you what, why not go try your 'superior' debating skills (as shown by the quality of your posts) with a large croc in the Outback. I'm sure he'll be impressed.
Acually, that's probably one of the better answers. Then you can walk away more subtly, or see if they laugh it off (it might even be a test, especially in a job in IT or involving private information).
I think there should be a difference between having radios in the room (which should be 'free' as the radio is free everywhere, and which would be a 'private' environment) and music played in openly public areas such as lobbies and lifts.
WARNING: Protests over stupid bills illegally bought by special interest groups for the purpose of increasing the wealth of the those special interests at the expense of technological innovation and the constitutional rights of the general public will lead to damage to Google's reputation despite them having nothing to do with it.
Well, there are very strong data privacy laws in the EU. Some of that data belongs to or involves EU citizens, so they could get into trouble over here for having it without authority, let alone using it.
