Not that it changes the fundamental wrongness of the whole deal but the 'teacher' was the cheerleading coach and the whole thing reads of cheerleader drama. No offense to anyone involved with cheering but the stereotype of the ditsy cheerleader does have a reason :)
well gosh the pictures have a watermark that clearly says (Copyright) Alaska Fish and Game Dept. May not be used without expressed written permission.
No need to get in the triviality of whether or not it is legal to copyright public records it says right on them they are copyright protected! And although the lighting was not under the Fish and Game Depts control they seemed to have posed the corpses which would make it art!!
Back when I was running a fairly popular Xbox based gaming ladder site I would get lots of indignant emails threatening to sue me for taking their Right to speak away. your unpaid access is the same as it is today- as we sit here reading this there are stories in the 'future queue' just as there was yesterday and the day before, what has changed is that for a buy-in you can see and comment on the stories that have not had the 'publish now' button clicked. Not really taking anything away- adding something for a price.
Remove the content, and what is google? An empty shell. They are entirely dependant on other people's information (to fill their search results and news pages).
Remove the internet?
Remove the newspaper content and Google is... well it is pretty much the same thing it is with the newspaper content.
I think your age range is a little too low. Your argument may apply to 45+ but i know quite a few 35-45 yearolds that have a started their MP3 collection 10+ years ago with ftp sites and napster when they were in their 20's and 30's.
Social security numbers alone are not personal information under most laws/regulations. Usually you have to have first name (or initial) and last name + the SSN before you have anything that needs to be treated as PII

"Keep off the grass" is one thing roman numerals and multiple parenthesis is a horse of a different color.

and was not intended to be an agreement for using the park.
That being said I doubt there is a much they could do to hold people to an "agreement" that is entered into like this.
