Wait. So it's the PARENTS who are supposed to parent???
might want to let parents around the country know that they're supposed to be raising their kids, not letting various government-funded agencies do it for them.
Hmmm.
I'm familiar with the music and lyrics of all of those, except "so in love are we two", which I couldn't even google. So, as I sat there for a few minutes reading the lyrics of each song, and came to the conclusion that any lawsuits that took place were 100% for the purposes of attention only.
In regards to "Ghostbusters" vs "I want a New Drug", the rythm and tempo are similar, but the music and flow of the songs are completely different. In regards to "Money for Nothin'", there is NO OTHER SONG that has that guitar sound. They specially programmed the computer to do that when they were writing the song.
That being said, I have heard the Coldplay vs Satriani mash-up, and they ARE eerily similar, so I suppose infringement is possible. The others, though? Not even close.
I'd like to congratulate the regulars here for NOT giving some of the comments on this thread a response.
There are some, above, that clearly either didn't pay attention to the interview, or didn't even watch the video at all. Those people prove, by their comments, that ignorance is NOT bliss. If it were, they wouldn't be so negative all the time.
I'll never see it anywhere else, either, but in quoting the judge verbatim, Mike accidentally gave the other author some free PR. How? Well, how many of us would never have known her name otherwise?
" the less time you spend getting out there to change things "
You obviously have only been watching/reading the news sources that DON'T show the millions of people all over this country who are out there doing just that....and the damn politicians don't listen, because they're salary is already guaranteed for life regardless of whether or not they're in office (didn't know that one did ya, folks)
"encourages them to blindly repeat his cockamamie ideas verbatim at all times"
Oh! so THAT'S what he means when I says to decide for ourselves! golly I could've sworn that when someone says "I'm just asking the questions. You can answer them for yourself", that that's exactly what they mean. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Oh yeah, that also means that if I interpret what everyone says as the exact opposite of what they really mean, then you are clearly a staunch Glenn Beck supporter.
I call that a reason to retract the word "never" and replace it with "TWICE". TWICE! How many shows has he done? I can't view the video clips at work, but one of those images doesn't even look like it's his show, but I'll stick with twice. Yep, he cried on air twice. What a big crybaby. He has no control over his emotions.
Even you "manly men" out there I guarantee have cried more than twice in your adult life. Criticizing someone for doing something you also do has a term: hypocrisy.
weeping. verb. expressing grief, sorrow, or any overwhelming emotion by shedding tears:
Nope he never does that.
Sniveling. verb. 1. to weep or cry with sniffling.
2. to affect a tearful state;
Nope he never does that.
And yes there's a need to get defensive here, because there's very little truth on this particular page. Unless, of course, you count the irony that this entire story is decrying the use of unsubstantiated information to incite viewers/listeners/readers...That's exactly what Mike has done here.
