That caught my attention right away. I'm sure they didn't really want to highlight how the industry (including ASCAP itself) robs the people they supposedly represent, but that was the most accurate point of the video.
So is the Wayback Machine infringing as well? How about Google's cached pages. I'm sure you can find exactly the same pages there. I assume that is probably where he got them.
" In other words, it's a made up number, derived from a made up number, built off of a laughable premise, ignoring the reality of what's happening today."
The linked article specifically says they were not arrested, but were detained in the FIFA office and questioned by police. Where did you get the arrested and threatened with 6 months in jail??
Orange is associated with The Netherlands. The Offical uniform of the Dutch Speedskaters in the olympics is Orange. Their fans wear orange at the olympics. Would FIFA have been okay had they gotten the dreasses somewhere other than the brewery?
My current router has the ability to set up Logical Access Points. The main account has connectivity to both the internet and the local network. The guest account has connectivity to only the internet. While I have other security on my computers the router takes care of not worrying about an attack from someone connected to my own access point.
Hopefully the parts of this that are playing out in the courts rather than at the ISPs will make this moot. If the courts follow through and make them sue each individual rather than a block, it will become as expensive (relatively) for them as it is for the people being blindsided.
Their explanation that it was a reset value that would have been the value after the prize was claimed makes no sense to me. Normally a reset value is gaming, lotteries, etc., is a small value that then climbs as the game is played without a winner.
I find it interesting that Time-Warner objected to this because of the amount of work that would be required, and not because the information that USCG uses to make the request is somewhere between iffy and bogus.
Actually I did DVR it, but they are only about 98% reliable. And this was part of that 2%. Everthing I has set to record for a 2 day period didn't work. After doing a reset on my DVR it is acting reliable again.
I hope the 110 percent reliable statement was meant as sarcasm.
I missed an episode of a CBS sitcom, and wanted to find it before I watched the next episode. I went to CBS's site to watch it putting up with their outrages number of repeated adds. Full episodes of that show weren't available. I went to iTunes to purchase that episode. Although some CBS shows were available on iTunes that one wasn't. Same story with Amazon. Apparantly the only legal way for me to get the missed episode is to wait until the season DVDs to come out and buy the entire season.
Now why would I be tempted to turn to an illegal site to find that episode?
I would make that deal with the music industry right now. $10,000 for all the music I want for life. I figure right now they owe me a rebate of at least $8,000.
It doesn't matter if you carry it all with you or not, it still takes 25 years to listen to it all just once, if you listen every waken momment. Take some time out to actually live a life and you will never listen to it all.
