I just happen to have 4 linksys WRT54G's , one of which I bought years ago, and 3 that were given to me by friends who bought N-routers to replace them. 5 minutes to flash each one with DD-WRT, and...voila!
Added bonus: the firewall box can double as a honeypot, if you're so inclined (mine's a linux box, so I could just let a couple of nasty windoze viruses run about on it as well). :)
I can't speak for Mike, but I (and some people I know) have an open (throttled) wifi connection with my personal network behind a firewall box that separates it from the open wifi.
Here in the Midwest, apple orchards have been doing this for years. Not only do they sell apples, but they let people pick their own, they have hay rides; hell, they even pick up spoiled apples off of the ground and charge people a buck or two to use a stationary slingshot to lob them at various targets!
Add to that a gift shop with all kinds of local agricultural products (honey, popcorn, maize, pumpkins, gourds, etc.). The produce is more expensive than at the local market, but the experience helps to drive sales.
The 'city folk' get a chance to get outdoors on a farm with their kids, and the local farmers increase their revenue.
Please explain exactly who "you people" are, because the phrase "you people" sounds suspiciously like "they"( i.e. anyone you don't like or agree with).

Wait, did you mean "official" or "legal" maybe? Sorry, can't help you with that.
Ask Maynard, maybe? If he's not a tool, he might point you in the right direction.

P.S. I really am sorry for offending all the developmentally challenged people of the world for comparing you to them.
