I... How... *sigh* Screw it, you're blind. If I were to get a mirror, you'll probably see Mike there and will continue your blind rampage.
I really can't come up with anything to describe how idiotically dumb you are! After reading all of your posts, I believe that you're blind and that's it. I can't help you with your problem, other than to tell you to please stop and take a moment to rest. You're not going to get Mike to change his position if you continue to spout utter nonsense and ad homs, or otherwise behaving like a 12 year old. If you (and/or maybe the other critics of TD) were to behave like an adult, then maybe he'll take you a little more seriously. But since that isn't going to happen, you're going to behave like a troll until this site is offline and you have no place to complain (unless you find another site to troll.)
So, I'm asking you nicely, please leave and go back to your dark cave. Perhaps the light is too bright for you and maybe the darkness will help you see better.
"This is my money and I need it now! No one is going to have it, not even the people working for me! It's all mine! Mine, mine, mine! These stupid pirating citizens will keep feeding me money and I'll be the richest wo/man in the universe!"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds something someone from a music label might say, right?
Blocking websites that have (insert content here) on them and not going after the (insert criminal type here) that do it is equivalent to looking the other way and pretending it didn't happen.
Now noticing that, I think they might send in some T-units in to exterminate them when they get their six strike, or maybe sooner if the user get something that might destroy the RIAA's business plans.
So instead of Apple or Google being SkyNet, the RIAA is. ... We're screwed.
So, are these politicians some kind of reality warpers? Are they trying to deny (when I read it, I thought it was 'defied') reality by making it where they get the court to rule in their favor and have them continue to live in this fantasy land?
And this is part of the reason why I hate using slang and swear words. With my mind being on the literal side, I want to use words by their original definitions, not by their perverted definitions people are using today.
It also makes me want to say: "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means" the next time I hear someone use a word that really irks me.
Well you are right that we do make mistakes. As a writer, I occasionally make mistakes when I write and I'm working on improving the quality of my work by doing my research and brushing up on my grammar. Granted even if I improve, I will make some mistakes and I am willing to improve on them.
What baffles me is that even if Crovitz believes in the whole "newspapers are professional, blogs are amateurs," wouldn't it hurt to open up the search engine of his choice and type in "history of the Internet?" I checked Google, Bing and Yahoo and found plenty of sites that provides some information on the history of the Internet. So let me guess here: is it...
1) he was on a deadline to not do the research,
2) a little (or too) lazy to put some effort into the research,
3) didn't want to put any effort in his search,
4) actually did some research but got a wrong source, or
5) any combination of the above.
I was thinking about someone should get some patents that deal with these trolls, saying something along the lines of "you're infringing my patent for trademark/copyright/patent/etc." Good to see that we have someone with a tool that could combat these trolls.
