I think Lucas keeps having problems because if he is involved with anything other than a blockbuster it is viewed as proof he is past his prime. Just making money doesn't count anymore.
That was an earlier argument as to how to enforce the law. The reason we do things the way we do now is that law officers were never punished. So what incentive did they have to follow the law?
It isnot about the volume of information. Currently both sides disclose the information that they plan to present. If a juror goes online and acquires information how exactly does the opposite side respond. They would not even know it was done. The idea is to present organized evidence not everything that is available.
Are you saying that Michael Geist referenced the courts opinion incorrectly or are you just name calling? Your link has nothing to do with your story. Nice try though
Actually, the US had nothing to do with creating Israel. The area was controlled by Great Britain and they did the creating. It also means that it was British soldiers killed while the Jewish people agitated for their own state.
Animals are view as property and so cannot have any legal rights including the legal right to IP. The rights as such should belong to the owner absent any contract entered into by the owner. Really not that hard.
I think it is important to point out that obsolete is not the same as ceasing to exist. As Mike points out it will still be possible to sell recorded music, it will just not be the large industry that it was. For that matter you can still buy buggies and buggy whips. http://www.horsecarriages.com/index.asp http://jedediahsbuggywhip.com/
Just out of curiosity, where did we get the millions of dollars in costs to develop drugs? Is this info from the drug companies? the government? Neither is known for being totally accurate in accounting.

Note to old guy lawmakers, plural so a single lawmaker does not get to decide. Also there is this thing called the constitution that has prohibitions against the lawmakers doing being able to make that decision.
It would seem that with all the concern about how we are falling behind other countries in science and technology increased access would be priority. The editorial does have one great idea though. "Thus, for instance, an agency might choose to work with its stakeholder communities to provide robust public access to journal articles on publisher Web sites, rather than constructing and paying for a centrally operated repository." Put articles online rather than in a building, what an idea.
"Obama Quietly Issues Ruling Saying It's Legal For The FBI To Break The Law On Accessing Phone Records." What part of this article leads you to believe that the government was not illegally spying on its citizens?
Would you mind citing proof for that? I have never heard of a case where the parent tried to prevent their child from doing something and were criminally charged with a crime.
I am so happy we are recognizing that corporations should be treated as people with free speach rights and everything. I have just one question.Does this mean bankruptcy is now the same as murder?
My company has had both an in house IT department and a outsourced IT department. When it was in house I knew most of the people and while sometimes they were a little testy(bad day) they were generally helpful and tried to solve problems. The company decided it would be more efficient to outsource the department and well as saving money. The new people are pretty nice and I generally get to know their names in the 3 to 6 months they stay around. It also saved a ton of money which is a good thing because each department has now hired their own IT person to you know make sure things get done in a timely manner.
