I'd be interested to see how that goes*. After all, given the speed of the blogosphere and the twitterverse (and facebookland?) the chances of a traditional media company being the first to report on any given large event is pretty small.
Plus, if the newspapers all put up paywalls so you can't read their stories without paying, how are you to know that you've been scooped and so can't report on something?
*Actually, not that interested since I'm fairly certain I can predict which way it'll go ...
I'm guessing the different meanings of the word wank could be causing problems. In the US, I think the term wank can be taken to mean mildly derogatory managementspeak. Here in the UK however it always refers to something rather different.
Of course, given the general reprehensibility of ACS:Law's bullying I wouldn't be suprised if it was intended to be the "UK meaning" if you will.
They really need to look at why the word "pirate" is being connected with Johnny Depp adventures. What sort of person would plaster the world with posters of Depp under the word "PIRATE". Three times. And then complain about it?
More like rob rich people to pay government bodies to work out how they would have paid poor people if only there was any money left after their expenses.
Better hope the crack will be easy to find. If you're planning on buying the game at the point that it's becoming less popular, you're probably going to find that Ubisoft is shutting the server down.
The coffee shop is giving away free newspapers in order to drive sales of coffee? Sounds like the newsagent next door needs to sue them for felony business model interference :)

We also had to wait for the original copyright on the term "Olympics", registered by the ancient greeks, to expire which didn't happen until 1896.

While you can try and avoid thieves by buying from reputable shops and getting shrink wrapped products, it seems that wasn't sufficient in this case.
The alternative is to dodge the other side of the combination and avoid buying single player games where server activation is required.
I agree he can still buy from Steam, but that requires a good cheap internet connection to download the game. Something not everyone has.

They seem to act as if they can say anything they like, provided the finish with "allegedly". Allegedly.
