Interesting that when I bring up Google Maps on my cell phone and have not enabled GPS, the circle that shows my possible location is about 1/2 mile in diameter or more (the range of the nearest cell tower)... And just how many people are in that area? I hope that woman gets a gazillion $$ from the state for her 12 years of bogus incarceration. :-(
I expect that Green Mountain will invoke the DMCA to stop the competition. Sigh. I used to like GM coffees. I'm boycotting them now. "Nevermore" cried the raven!
What butt heads (the University and the complaining couple). The appropriate response to the original jest would have been a raised middle finger and loud FU. Unfortunately, these days our little snowflakes have an exaggerated sense of moral outrage and entitlement, and zero sense of appropriate responses to other asshats they may encounter in their lives. Next? Making a rude comment a felony... Oh, right, it already may be if you make it to someone in authority, like the police.
Since FB "likes" cannot be owned, then when FB transferred the likes to BET's page from the other, they tacitly confirmed "ownership". In retrospect, they should ONLY have copied them. Whether or not there is a legal issue here is another thing. Not being an attorney/lawyer, I can only wonder.
They are both now on my "never support, buy, or use" list. My last Sony devices were a TV (sold in a yard sale), and a dual cassette recorder which I still own, but don't use. Time to have another yard sale!
Lesson one for every wannabe Federal (or other) bureaucrat before they are allowed to make our lives miserable is that you never let people know exactly what you mean, and to keep all the regulations you create as ambiguous as possible, encapsulated in as much bureaucratic gobbledygook as possible so that it is impossible for anyone with a brain to parse. Trying to do so will make your head explode!
I think that most people in positions of authority (corporate wonks, politicians, judges, police, et al) are required to excise their sarcasm gene when they are elected/appointed/gain their high state of idiocy.
You have to wonder what the CIA and NSA have on Obama for him to be such a foot stool for them... His actions regarding national security have been abominable, unconscionable, and in many cases unconstitutional. If he were running for office again, I think I'd rather vote for Jack the Ripper. At least we knew where he stood!
In my opinion, Alexander has always been a fraud, and time will out him as the egotistic, misogynistic, fraudulent asshat that he is. He should be in prison, not free to charge enterprises $1M / month for non-existent abilities...
The current Colombian government is no better than the cocaine cartels they are trying to remove from power. The US is supporting the most egregious examples of "screw you people" that there could be - shame on you Obama!
