But with the latest license you can only listen to the music with both ears if you are in a "music consumptions zone" predsignated in your home that must have been inspected by an "aural consumption specialist".... oh and only on a Thursday at 3.13am and only for 18mins and 12 seconds.
So US States that prohibit non-believers from holding public office aren't being persecuted? Non Muslims banned from marrying Muslims in some nations isn't persecution and contries that force the study of a particular religion in public education aren't persecuting those that do not believe?
Time to get the local church done then for all the "Jesus Saves" and "Jesus died for your sins" posters they put up all the time, I find them highly offensive and I find ones like "Repent and save yourself" types very threatening!
The internet is based on system that was designed to continue to function is you dropped a nuclear bomb on a large part of it... it is designed to route around damage and all this sort of legislation does is get people working out how to build those routes.
Lol, the amount of people coming over to Usenet from Bittorrent in the last 18 months has been amazing!
Won't be long till the legacy types try and shut it down but luckily they just concentrate on unpopular link sites and the replicated nature of servers makes it very hard to police.
I'd imagine so, or like email where you can send stuff as "attachments"!

... and after building a fanbase via music reality TV if she doesn't maintain her connection with her fans she may disappear.
This story is actually a good one to keep a track on as it will be interesting to see where she is in 12 months time and what level of fan interaction she has maintained.
But... but... it was megaupload.COM and as we all know all .COM domains must comply with US Law, or whatever the legacy parts of the entertainment industry says the law should be, whether they are in the US, Tuvalu or The Vatican City.
LMAO! Just look at them... if they weren't being set up as terrorists by the FBI they'd be distilling moonshine in Grandpa's outside toilet or sleeping with their cousins!
To a degree you are correct, it is just entertainment, an industry that doesn't contribute as much as say.. the tech industry towards a nations GDP... so why does this little industry have so much sway over Government laws? Why does this little insignificant industry get to say how our rights can be eroded?
lol, I had one of those last night, not video but an image posted by my beloved BBC but only on a page on their worldwide outlet that's not accessible to anyone in the homeland. Does my box in!
