"I didn't really doubt that they MU engaged in infringing activities." - John
I just came off a jury and the defense lawyer opened with:
Raise your hand if you think my defendant is guilty.( No hands.)
Raise your hand if you think my defendant is innocent. (No hands.)
Raise your hands if you need to see the evidence before deciding. (Every hand went up.)
Lawyer: Let me remind you all that the Constitution is very clear that my defendant is Innocent Until Proven guilty.
Re: Re: Wow! I guess the government schools don't want free speech.
Typical troll, straw-man deflection.
No mention that the students’ rights are being infringed upon by an overbearing Teacher’s Union that doesn’t like what students are saying on their own time.
Re: Re: Re: Wow! I guess the government schools don't want free speech.
Typical personal, troll-like attack with a non-argument rebuttal from the lame.
People take control of their destiny and rewrite rules. Steve Jobs is a perfect example and says it better than I or anyone of your limited understanding of what winning means.

So you think spending more money you don't have will help? Crazed Keynesian Socialist alert!
The bond market is telling Spain to stop spending until it can get its economy growing to handle the amount of spending, just like millions of American households do everyday by balancing their budgets.
Austerity measures are taken if there is a threat that a government cannot honor its debt liabilities. Spain can't pay their future debts, so they need to stop spending.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: That is because Capitalists like Bush only want control of your money
The BIG difference, Obama portrayed himself as the person who would NOT diminish our freedoms, Bush never made such claims.

Re: Wow! I guess the government schools don't want free speech.
This is about the Teacher’s Union, not the students. The above mentioned forms of organizing are centrally planned and executed. With central control, tyranny is inevitable. History tells the full story.
For all you "more govt" people, Europe is in a self-fulfilling death spiral due to “more govt”. When the Spanish bond starts trading above 6%, the rest of the EU will start cannibalizing the system to save themselves.
Capitalism has some bad things, but nothing more competition can’t fix. Tesla, the Wright Brothers, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are all products of the creative destruction of Capitalism. Greed is good as far as true competition is fostered, unlike centrally located Govt pukes who take bribes to slant the playing field. I know, the US has always had Crony Capitalism, so why do the useful idiots want more govt control?
Sports are a perfect example of competitive greed to win as long as the rules are fair to all and the Ref is not bribed to give an unfair advantage.
The locked down market is the problem, not the choices you get on limited providers.
Tax payers have subsided building out the "infrastructure" by allowing the builder of said infrastructure a monopoly. The companies do not own the infrastructure anymore than they own the air.
They have a return on their investment and been given a profit for their efforts, now the public needs to be given a Real choice by opening up OUR infrastructure and OUR airwaves to competition for the good of all.
The fully bought off incompetents that recently "fixed" the patent system have NO clue on how tech works or will work. Their track record of backing “innovation protection” legislation that would destroy genuine innovation in on the record for future generations to use as a “NOT How To do”.
The likes of bottom-feeding Chris Dodd will be held in the same regard as Ralph H Cameron (wanted to mine and destroy the Grand Canyon) & Larry Criag (hypocritical JackAss).
I remember buying a car using Edmunds, before the car companies got their hooks into it. I was able to haggle, knowledgably, which is the way it should be. Good to hear there are more sites like the old Edmunds. Sell outs...
Why are politicos looking to the past to "save jobs"? They need to look to the FUTURE and the future is the Creative Competition of the Internet. New personal content will create more jobs than Hollywood and past content.
That's the part they can't grasp, WE THE PEOPLE are the Internet, tech companies, pop culture, creativity, story tellers & music players. WE are what matters, they are just leaches who need to be removed.
People’s lives are, and have always been, the best of pop culture. Hollyweird was just plagiarizing from People’s Experiences. People can bypass HW, as digital tech advances, and more people will be creating their own content for target audiences much like musicians target an audience.
Hollyweird is becoming more and more irrelevant as the Internet becomes the New Medium for telling stories.
We need to Reclaim the US People’s Wireless Spectrums that were illegally sold to Monopolies by those who Did Not Own Them.
Purchases, excluding per diem costs, will be refunded and term-lease Spectrum options will be issued. Furthermore, The Office of Spectrum Management and FCC Spectrum & Competition Policy Division will openly create competitive wireless markets with minimal regulation and maximum safe usage of ALL Spectrums for the greater benefit of We the People over the Monopolies.
