This got me wondering if Comcast is responsible for the Russian contribution. I mean, if they have influenced the elections so easily and sowed discord, animosity, division among Americans, why not poison everything else to make the country implode? I mean, cater to the incumbent players so the US keeps lagging behind on virtually every sector, feed regulatory capture so banks go out of control more and more, make health care go to hell etc.
And all while Americans are bickering over political parties. Sounds like a pretty decent strategy even if it will take years, maybe decades to work. You know, something Wall Street cant fathom: long term strategy.
This is actually why it is dangerous to outlaw subjective things like hate speech*. I believe that platforms should let the users do their moderation even if they let them use some AI to assist in such task while placing tools to report clearly criminal content such as child porn. CP is easily recognized as a crime. It's one of those topics everybody generally agrees with (even if some people are a little overzealous). This would trigger further review from the staff while things that fall into the "I don't like" category would be just hidden by the user him/herself. It would lessen the burden on platforms and foster the much needed competition Facebook needs for instance.
Sure there would be abuses like people reporting others for "CP" to try to silence them but instead of an automated response that could effectively censor innocents it would be humans doing the review which would reduce false positives and abuses. Not that it would be easy to implement but we need to try. The other option is destruction.
Considering we have been having plenty of examples of cops being complete pigs specially against minorities it's not really a surprise an african-american, bisexual individual would have a less-than-stellar perception of them. It's also interesting to see how BLM is being turned in some sort of terrorist group that shouldn't be in conversations in the collective perception.
Re: Wow. "Astounding." The treasures we've lost. What a shame.
This probably is the same mechanism that leads self-labeled "pro-life" individuals issue death threats to abortion activists including gems like "you should die impaled".

I believe that other than being an ice-licking, possibly-paid troll he would have a hard time making money given his ideas of business strategies seem to come straight out of a Three Stooges episode.
Cue copymorons mass hysteria and random, unrelated "BUT PIRACY" yells.
So to summarize you got a ton of works under a Hellish patchwork of eternal copyrights and brought them to an equally bad federal law that at the very least chops the "eternal" out of the equation for the current generations?
Sounds like Becker is the one that had awful parents. I mean, how bad your parents have to be to produce a monster like that? Or he is a complete psychopath.
I was going to congratulate you for the pure comedy piece but after you repeated yourself I'm now going to suggest psychiatry. Still, have my funny vote!

Beware, Google is everywhere, it could be me replying to you! It could be that we are all Google bots out to get you! You should move to an inhabited mountain to save yourself and never use any communications channel ever again!
I seriously can't understand why boobs, penises and vaginas are still treated as intolerable taboos. Glad to see at the very least there are signs of evolution.

You mean the engineer being fired because he was a bigoted moron even if there are certain areas where biology favors men or women in detriment of their counterpart? Right.
