I just don't expect anyone to follow these new rules because they know they won't be held accountable for breaking them. They do what they want and no oversight is done because no one in power seems to care that by constantly breaking the laws no one has respect for them.
Enforcing at the point of a gun only works as long as you have bully boys to enforce for you.
Maybe they are so full of themselves with their "successes" against smaller weaker countries that those that want a war with Russia are forgetting Russia is heavily militarized.
When things like this come to pass it clearly shows they are bought and paid for and should not be trusted in any way with running governmental positions.
Re: It still amazes me that torture is a CONTROVERSY.
That's easy you brainwash the children with rhetoric about how only bad people get tortured. if you end up being tortured then you must be a bad person.
The sad part is this will only cause Americans caught and detained by foreign powers to be tortured. Since now the world knows that the US government has no problem ignoring the geneva convention so why should they.
So we only have the FBI's word on all this then? Considering how much they have been exposed to lie consistently when it benefits them, I have some doubts on whether or not they just picked a few random people known for being associated with the hacking community and decided to pick them as the masterminds.
unless of course they refuse to show up in court or claim bankruptcy or whatever else to avoid being penalized for blatantly breaking the law by impersonation people to get websites shut down.
the US government seems to pride itself on ignoring people's constitutional rights for the last several decades. So that's next to no defense for the people.
