So, because I have no interest at all in your product (note, I do not 'pirate' and I do not purchase label music), you should have the power to remove my rights?

Yes, Free Speech is a meme. Tell me, why are you even an American? The 1st Amendment is one of our most cherished laws (right behind the 2nd, I'd imagine), so it's a meme that's lasted over 300 years. Yet you seem disinterested in it. Hell, even Europe understands the importance of such a thing. Stop wiping your ass with MY RIGHTS. The government, I fear, is going to find out just what the 2nd is for soon enough.
And thus you show that it IS a monopoly. I bought it, I should be able to resell it. Having a law that says I cannot is a law that enforces a monopoly.
If you want to be historically accurate, the 'rednecks' were political coalitions of poor white farmers. Later, it referred to coal miners who wore red bandanas around their necks. These are the true blue collar workers.
NO WHERE do I find that that RIAA is a non-profit. Trade organizations can be for profit, non-profit, or not for profit. All three have differences. Care to cite where the RIAA is a non-profit?
Considering that I /am/ handicapped (wheelchair most of the time and legally blind), I should take offense to that. It's difficult to, however, with the person behind that comment among the mentally challenged.
I know there was a story going around about removing the income tax and just taxing all your monetary transactions. Making a deposit? Taxed. Making a withdrawal? Taxed. Paying your taxes? Taxed.

Since it is an INTERstate issue, it is one for the federal government. A California law does not affect citizens of, oh, Uta for example. And yet their pollution does. Utah can't enact a law against California polluters. The Feds can.
I'll just call you an idiot and a fool and be done with it. You keep spewing the same FUD we've all seen and laughed at for quite some time. Sad that you are going to fail as badly as the recording industry. In the meantime, the music industry is bright and shiny.
