Everyone would love it...cept the Olympics Commission. The reason I no longer care about the Olypics is because its too commercial now. Everyone wants money from it while the stars, the athletes, get to simply live in near poverty for two weeks (plus training and all that) to represent their countries in nike ripoffs that, rather than litigate, Nike actually did the right thing and gave them real Nike uniforms.
Music isn't dead Unstealthy Ninja, the industry as it stands is falling and artists are moving to a more friendlier industry where they actually get to see the faces of their fans and see how their art and words touch them. The current industry frowns on happy fans often smacking them with the business end of a tour bus.
That is my question too. Honestly, I think the numbers are either farce or they simply stopped looking. There are new ways of pirating music and I am willing to bet that the traffic moved to a more secure method (harder to track) than it actually reducing.
WSJ is taking a page out of Wallstreet. Wall Street makes its money by guessing whats gonna happen to things because some other things might happen...WSJ guesses on how things are/were so they should be making a major profit!
The problem with cell internet is, its not good for gaming. its not good for remote access to repair field systems (trust me I know) and its costly. Businesses wont like it, and as Verizon wont be spreading FIOS they will be pissing off customers. I could never use my portable hot spot to run my home systems. online gaming and my streaming would run the cost of it to a point where it would cost more to stream and play games for a few hours a day than it does for me to go out and be social. being social causes me stress. Stress makes me moody and when i am moody I hurt things, verizon is trying to make me hurt things...
I can't, verizon turned off my DSL even though I am right next door to one of their main switching stations in this state, they feel that its not cost effective to put Fios in this part of the state. Now I need to wait for Xfinity to come and install a splicer so they can ad a line for me rather than running a new line because its cheaper for them.
I just looked at the game boxes my room mates got for D3, both state in the requirements for the game is an internet connect. How is this not stating you need to have an internet connection to play the game? The issue here isn't so much that you are required to play online, they are complaining there is nothing stating that you need to be online. All the release notes for it stated you needed an internet connection (actually broadband connection as Dialup would be too slow).
I am not a gun owner, but honestly, that argument is getting old. I don't care how you restrict gun ownership, people who WANT to get a gun WILL STILL GET A GUN or simply put a van through the wall of a movie theater and blow it up.
Actually...they are...they want to extend the rules that allowed them to do this rather than fixing it so that this CAN'T happen. Why fix something that is broken, right?
