Every copy they get made for a court case has to be notarized which is quite expensive when you are talking how many copies they needed to make of the lines of code.
I knew this back when I went to school in 93-97. i got academically dismissed from school. I had 2 semesters where I was driving 8 hours home and 8 hours back to school to help my mother because my dad died. I had a good deal of stress but was getting passable grades but they felt my grades were not all c+ or better so I was not keeping up (my GPA when they booted me was 2.14 out of 4). I went to the academic review board to plea my case, but they felt as I was there with government grants and loans, I was not an acceptible risk. So I talked to the girl who was after me while the board discussed my situation, her GPA was 0.2 it had been from her first semester to her...9th...and they kept her because mommy and daddy was paying her way. I knew then it was all about money..not teaching.
2 hours commuting in Boston traffic or 4 hours of getting groped by George the TSA groper who is on parole for sexually abusing a Tasmanian fruit bat...I think I will be driving to work again...
Its an honest mistake really...I feel for the FBI, I have done that myself...
They were having so much luck investigating and breaking up their own plots, they got over confident when they went after Dotcom thinking the same rules applied in the real world as it did in their imaginary one.
See, this is what happens when the FBI gets caught up with the movies that they get portraid in.
It will be really funny for those who bought a car with an Ipod dock built in (yes there were several toyotas and Nissans and a few others who offered this as a feature)
And using a finger swipe to unlock a smart phone, or clicking on a link in a text message to open a webpage or to call someone, isn't something anyone would have thought of? yet apple is/has sued for both because Android uses it too? These are novel or non-obvious?
You can't use this letter in public view blahblah I KEEL YOU!
So, I have been thinking about this...If you read into it like the MPAA and RIAA would, would this mean that you can't even show it to your lawyer? hell, even read it to yourself? Wouldn't that make this letter non-existent?
