I don't know about awesome, but yes, I was partially referring to the idiotic judges. The other part is the big truck/shit kicker culture that is so prevalent.

"Smoking refer makes you mad as a hatter."
Not only that, but based on the commercials I've seen, it will also: cause you to run over little girls on their bikes, shoot heroin, snort cocaine, rape women, completely ignore your friends/family, fund/aid terrorism, turn you into a drooling retard, die, die again, become an undead zombie that continues running over kids on their bikes, kick puppies, beat nuns, and perform fellatio on Betty White....
Don't forget about stealing music, eating babies, being forced into a life of raporism, and supporting terrorists.
I own the rights to some media. Would that give me carte blanch access to anything I wanted to download? On the same token, wouldn't it give anyone the right to register with the copyright office then download to their heart's content?
The point is that they won't be able to say "media rights-holders". They will have to carve out exceptions for every one of their little friends. Will it help? I don't know, but at this point it certainly couldn't hurt.
It's in the New York Daily News. They're from Long Island. If I had to guess, I'd would assume that means they are living in New York, although they may be living in Long Island Village waterfront community in Port Isabel, TX (a Community Property state) and it's just a slow news day in New York. Assuming I'm right, New York is an Equitable Distribution state.
You're talking about experiences vs. content. Movie theater = experience while DVD = content. Concert = experience whereas CD/digital download = content. Hardcover = content and so does digital download.

The Hulu Name
Where did Hulu get its name? What does Hulu mean?
There’s no definition of the word "Hulu" in the English language, but it took us as an inherently fun name, one that captures the spirit of the service we're building. Our hope is that "Hulu," as an empty vessel, will come to embody our (admittedly ambitious) never-ending mission, which is to help you find and enjoy the world's premier content when, where and how you want it, for free.
When the name Hulu was first considered, it was discussed in the context of its Chinese translation (as several Hulu employees are of Chinese descent).
Two interesting translations of "hulu" in Mandarin:
A gourd. In ancient times, the gourd was used in China as a "holder of precious things". That appealed to us given the premium content-focused mission of Hulu.
Interactive recording (which is a secondary definition).

Or, in the case of my friend, you have a complex partial, strip off your clothes, and walk outside your apartment. Epileptic seizures are often something much stranger than stiffening and twitching. Her epilepsy is not yet under control.

ED
On Topic: I've been through a lot of ED and have never seen that article. I'll have to look it up when I get home.
Off Topic: I like tricking my epileptic friend into going to the ED page on epilepsy. It's funny to watch her twitch.
Disclaimer: I don't really do this because looking at that page makes me twitch and I can't imagine what it would end up doing to her. I've always wanted to see, but decency gets in the way of curiosity sometimes.
